"Great experience before the show at PPAC. Pesto shrimp pizza was great but I thought a bit more pesto would have moved it to an outstanding! Our waiter Wil was fantastic.. attentive but never intrusive , subtle sense of humor and efficient. I would ask for him again when I return . And we had the check paid with plenty of time to go to the theater. Fun, delicious start to the night!"

"A very eclectic looking restaurant that was unassuming but also quite inviting to many passerbys. The decor was lovely and music was cool. The man working the register/barista area, who I could only assume was the owner, was quite friendly and polite. I’ll begin by saying I was attracted to this restaurant due to its vegetarian options and everything came quickly after ordering. I ordered enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I started with a small Iced Moroccan Mint Tea and Grape Leaves. The tea was refreshing and quite flavorful, with the mint balancing the bitterness of black tea well. The grape leaves came in sets of 6 and were very tasty, having just the right amount of flavor. Next came the Falafel Wrap, which was perfect. The falafel had a nice crispness and there wasn’t an over abundance of veggies or sauce, just the right amount. I finished with the vegetarian samosas which were the highlight of the meal for me. The filling was beyond flavorful and was complimented well by the sauce it came with. A perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I will definitely be coming back."

"That keeps alive, locally and hip. every time I went to the bottom for lunch, it was fresh, delicious, cheap, friendly and fun. that is, nothing of the diversity and health of the organic and balanced recipes that are offered. burritos and paninis with fresh avocado, homemade pesto, garden vegetables, homemade hummus etc. grilled cheese, great salads, smoothies and breakfasts round it out. they do not have to be a hipster to enjoy the healthy and very inexpensive locally produced food on the fertile underground. everything in the menu is round or less. it does not hurt if they have a cool screen printed t-shirt and a tattoo if they want to insert, but all are welcome in this friendly food business and lunch caffe. you can't go wrong."

"Wait, What?. After reading the other reviews of the Fez, I was blown away that there was such brief and vague descriptions. Anyone who knows anything knows that the Red Fez is overrated and has an entirely pretentious staff. Ok, give us $2 beers, that's the only reason I ever enter the door, and it's a good deal. But, the food really tastes like it was made by drunk people, for no one. Yea they have revolving specials doled out to out of date hipsters and wanna be black metal softies, but really, is it imaginative and carried out with grace? The food is wavering at best, inconsistent and for the most part overpriced. They want the image of presenting gourmet food in a dive bar...read more"
