"The photos on the website don't do the pub any favours. The food is lovely, the steak pie was very tasty, my friend had gammon and it was huge, the sticky toffee pudding is probably the best dessert I've had in a pub. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"So I was scared after visiting inside this pub no drinks or bottles on show only us in there not been cleaned or renovated since 1960 no music not chat from landlord it was silent cold and dirty. Can’t believe this place is still going felt so sorry for them and wanted to have a drink to help them surviveMaybe better in the summer when you don’t have to sit inside"

"A great restaurant. the attentive staff and lou in front of the house and community owners made the place special and they felt as if they were more than just an ordinary customer, more like a guest invited to dinner. we are quite new to eat tapas style and lou talked us through the menu and made sure that we knew what we did and the best options for us and our six-year-old sohn lou made him a special drink he loved and asked to order another! eating was beautiful, varied and cooked for perfection. the tequila sunflower I ordered was the best I ever had, you could actually taste the alcohol and it only had the minimum amount of ice in it, so you didn't feel cheated from a decent drink and you could appreciate the aromas of the cocktail. the waitresses were all very nice, chatting and often talked to our little boy. we wished that we lived in the opposite, so that we could be regularly mozen, but unfortunately not. a small intimate space. we loved it!"
