"It was late in the afternoon on a warm sunny autumn day when we stopped here for a pre-dinner drink. The views of Lago Maggiore are wonderful here as you are on the curve just as the road goes down to the lake. Good rose, nibbles served and friendly service. Next time we will actually have the ice cream they are noted for!"

"Maybe the top hotel in Ascona?We visited for a meal one early evening we sat on the terrace overlooking the lake, enjoying the view after a few minutes we started to look at the menu and decided what to order.A waitress came up and asked us to move as she was about to reserve the table and proceeded to show us a table right at the back with no view, no apology stopping for a brief moment at another table to tell a gentleman he could have our table to which he replied his wife would not be ready for sometime?We decided not to stay and proceeded to walk away she made no attempt to appease us or apologies.I am so glad we did not stay here."

"Das Essen: Steinpilzsalat, ok. Muschelsuppe, versalzen und langweilig im Geschmack. Wienerschnitzel nicht gar und fade. Service zuvorkommend, macht aber das Essen nicht wett. Für Apero ok."

"We had the vegan carbonara and 'brontosaurus ' steak. I 've been vegan for 8 years but this restaurant was a new experience! Both meals were super good!! It would 've been nice if they added some veggies to the steak, but yolo can eat my veggies tomorrow. My vegetarian boyfriend tried the sachertorte wich was also super good."

"Wirklich Entspannte Bar ob für einen Cappucio am Morgen oder einen Mojito am Abend...irgendwie stimmt die Atmosphäre immer. Leicht alternativ angehaucht mit fairen Preisen und freundlichem Personal. Rundum Gut!"
