"We arrived in El Calafate in the late afternoon and caught the shuttle hotel to the Main Street of town. We had no idea what was good despite some ideas from the front desk clerk. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Service was slow and when I decided on the lomo, I was informed no lomo, only bief. I went with the bief which was good and came with thick, fresh fries. My husband ordered the pizza which was thick crust unlike the thin crust in Ushuaia. It was very good and the small (Chica) was more than enough for one. I tasted it and agree that it was very good. I found the service lacking, the waiter that took our order completely disappeared and the waitress that took over seemed to be the only wait staff. Even when we asked for the check, she attended to many other tables before bringing it and then she placed the bill and credit card on the bar for quite a while before bringing it back. Go for the food but beware the slow service. Also when you leave,turn left and stop at the ice cream/chocolate place next door. Well worth it."

"Good food, but terrible service. The staff is completely unstoppable. We waited 15 minutes for the menu at the end we went and took it ourselves, then sat another 20 minutes with empty plates at the end we went and took the bill from us. Despite the fact that we were in the restaurant during lunchtime and only 20% of the tables were occupied."

"It happened to fantasy ice, although it was freezing and very glad I did. Amazing taste, we tried the tiramisu and caramel and they were amazing. Just like tiramisu, honestly better than Gelato we had in Italy!"
