"A bunch of colleauges and I ended up at this restaurant by the lake in Friedrichshafen because we were a big group and had not reserved a table for our dinner, and this was the only place that was not full on a Friday night. It would not be my first choice if I was in the area again, because the place is a little cheesy and lacking of personality; however, the quality of their beef was surprisingly good considering how the restaurant looks (pretty touristy and more like a bar). The meat was cooked to perfection and according to our request. It was served nicely and accompained by fresh vegetables and a tasty tomato bruschetta. Wine selection is also good. Our waitress was very friendly and competent (a tall blond girl); another one who helped her serving us had no clue whatsoever what she was serving us. Perhaps she was new. The price was fair. All in all, a nice surprise. The menu is pretty small: salad, meat and ice cream. If you like beef and are not looking for a fancy place, you may want to consider this place."

"My friend and I wanted to eat after a long cycle tour in the evening in friedrichshafen and while walking on the promenade we enjoyed this restaurant in the eye. I had spatula with calfscarved and carrots, with melted butter. overall very tasty. the spatula boiled to the point and the carving hot and well seasoned. the only manko: the size of the carving. for 9,80€ I had expected much more, even if it was calf meat. it had about a diameter of 10cm, which is clearly too small. for just under 25€ the food also well plucked.For my friend there was a thorn that tasted her very well. on the grounds of the prices we dispensed with a dessert.In total a restaurant with great view of the lake, an equipment that could be more cozy and peppered trips. the food is very good and tasty."

"After strolling around the pedestrian area, we fancied some coffee and cakes. They had at Weber and Weiss a nice assortment of cakes and chocolates. I bought some berries cakes, chocolate cake, and a Schwarzwald torte (cake). The huge cup of coffee was not that good, the chocolate drink was made of coca powder, I had better chocolate drinks. But the cakes were really good. The service is very friendly, and its a cute place to sit in the midst of the pedestrian area."
