"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"I generally enjoy my experience at Ruth’s Chris; however, on this special occasion, it definitely fell short of expectations. We were a party of 6 and throughout the evening, 1 of the 6 meals and beverages did not arrive at the table at the same time. First it was my drink, then it was my entree. The mojitos tasted like seltzer water; the coffee was cold. The final straw was my entree. I didn’t receive my entree until the rest of our party was almost finished eating. By the time my food came, I no longer wanted to eat it; I opted to take it home. Our server David did his best to fix the experience. Unfortunately, the celebration of my daughter’s 17th birthday was not what I expected. For the amount of money spent, the experience was lackluster."
