"The best thing about this place is the friendly and courteous service from all the waiters and waitresses. Love its simple cosy and comfy ambience. We had our lunch at the Soul cafe downstairs. Adjourned to The Craftisan upstairs for coffee and homemade gelato. Will definitely come back again."

"Overall the place has good vibes,food was not bad ordered the ebiko fusillie and salted egg macaronni,the macaronni was overcooked a bit but the fusillie was great pair the ebiko w the salmon,the ceasar salad taste not bad but they should pay attention to the lettuces cause i gotten some wilted lettuce. The pasta set comes w drink soup and free flow ice cream, the chicken soup was nice but the pumpkin soup was kinda under seasoned had to ask for salt amd pepper and thats why i just gave it a 4 star"

"I personally hate eating my vegetables, so the fact that I finished the salad portion was very surprising to me. It was good and not too heavy on the tongue, and there was adequate smoked duck. Corn chowder was quite disappointing. I'm not big on chowders so I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to taste but it was pretty tasteless to be very frank. Spicy bek bek pasta was good, with the pulled duck. The garlic bread went well with the pulled duck! Salted duck egg ice cream with chocolate cake was good too, but a tad bit disappointing because they only gave 3 small slices of chocolate cake. The way it was phrased to me during the explanation of what the set dinner was, seemed like the chocolate cake was the main star of the dish, but it was probably only an extra in this show."

"Another beautiful place for cozy porridge and soup noodles! Love the soup noodles. Appetising and super delicious! Always a must by Penang when I visit: After this stop you can only go a few shops to the left while you get out of Hon kei, to a corner kopitiam to enjoy their delicious fluffy coffee!"

"The best coffee experience I had in Penang was this unassuming place. The coffee is brilliant, the Beatles are playing in the background and the owner, Mr Eskay (sorry if I didn't spell this right) was one of the most amazing individuals we met in Penang. You know your coffee is gonna be good when you see quantitative equation of taste and acidity from different types of coffee beans. Besides, CG has the ambition of revolutionising the way we consume coffee. Just get their coffee hit in a can a good quality cuppa in a chilled can. If I can drink coffee non stop I'll probably finish three cans in a day. Plus, the owner made us try the hot chocolate, which was rich in generosity and taste. This place is a must visit if you're in town, or in my case, revisit."
