"I was recently in this Mr. Sub restaurant in downtown Guelph. I'll never be back. I went in and the lady behind the counter already prepared orders, although there were no one in the restaurant next to him. When I came in, she never greeted me. I went to the table and said hello. She answered with us are very busy, many online orders will be 5 10 minutes. I decided to wait because I was there and I honestly thought she would let me wait so long. I understand it's hard to work in fast food, so I just said no problem and waited. After about five minutes, another couple came in behind me and she said exactly the same to them that she said to me. She wasn't very polite about being somehow rude, honest. After about ten minutes (five minutes for the couple behind me), the couple said they were tired waiting. The lady behind the counter reminded her that she told them it was a waiting period. They didn't let them finish what she said, and they already ran out. Then I waited a minute and she took my order. I just wanted a sub, but she used to make my order again so that she could get orders to the supplier who came in. I was obviously not important enough for her. She did not care for customers who actually take the time to get into the car and drive to their restaurant. She accused me of what I ordered (no discount) and never thanked me. I was the one who wanted to thank you (it should be different). I just walked out and I promised I'd never be back. I'm pretty sure she's the owner. I could be wrong, but I feel it was."

"We have visited this boon burger location three times now, and the experience is getting better. At first they were terribly slow, but are now serving meals much faster. The burgers are good, but the specials are pricey. Be sure to ask as the prices are not listed on the specials board. The fries are still a bit dry and chewy, but they are baked which can account for this. The soups are good but not great, and the ice cream machine is still missing, which means no shakes or soft serve. If the fries were fatter, they would be less chewy and the food is still coming out warm but not hot. Two Specials and two side orders were almost $40, no drinks. I think that's expensive for fast food."

"Usually I like this location the best.. but it's very disappointing when you order a kids combo for the specific toy advertised for their kids only to get a garbage toys from a previous kids combo .. they can't say.. sorry the toys different.. instead of massive disappointment from an almost excited but now crushed kid.. thanks for a great morning..."

"An interesting entry into the building as it seats on the 2nd floor in the rear of the complex. (Unfortunately, does not appear to be accessible if anyone is curious) I love that you pass the kitchen towards your seat. The kitchen team was smiling and greeting guests upon their arrival for the seating. This small service of the whole team (not just the host, or the service team) was grateful for your arrival. The venue itself is quaint. Which allows for an intimate setting. Real flowers on the tables. The little attention to detail show's they're willing to put money in the small things!The waiter was extremely helpful with his suggestions and selections. They have wonderful selection of wines. We started off of with a wonderful Prosecco. The 4 of us each had our own appetizer. Each of us fully satisfied with the dish. With that we had a wine recommended by the Waiter - delicious. For the mains, I had the duck. It was literally the BEST duck I've had. Cooked to perfection! One member of our party had a fish allergy - it was pleasant to see the restaurant accommodate with ease. The waiter, again, selected a fine bottle! The only critique I have was the dessert. The Tiramisu I had was frozen at parts and was more ice cream that a proper Tiramisu filling. The other desserts did receive good feedback. I look forward to being back again!"

"So disappointed!! We have been coming to Samurai for years and always enjoyed our meals here, we asked for a beer and sake “no alcohol here” so they no longer have a license, the interior is filthy!! we got warm water in a plastic glass!...All u can eat menu is more limited and more expensive, one of the “white tuna” sushi tasted like dirt and as we were ordering more the “chef” while wearing plastic gloves was blowing his nose as he put the pieces of my salmon sushi on the tray!!!! Twice! In front of us!! Needless to say I didn’t eat even one bite! Service is just ok, she forgot the sauce and the wasabi and ginger both times we asked for more, the ONLY thing that was really tasty was the shrimp tempura. It seems to be taken over by a low end bunch of japanese people that don’t care. Clean up your restaurant, wash everything down, clear off the messy table of junk right at the front door and tell the chef to not blow his nose while making the food!"

"Well we must not forget one of my tops places to go for food and/or drinks. Im here so often that I never thought to post. With a delightful staff that I look forward to seeing and catching up with and great food.This beet salad with goat cheese, candied almonds and I added chicken. A nice romantic atmosphere that changes at night for a fun place for anyone wanting to go out thats mature."
