"The place was busy so had a long wait to order, which is fair enough. Ordered two desserts, which for the best part of £15, is on the pricey side of things. Waited about 15 minutes after ordering for the first dessert to arrive. Had to chase up for the second one after another 5 minute wait, and when it arrived was just plonked on the table without a single word from the waitress. An apology for the wait would have been nice but to not say a single word seemed pretty rude tbh. I felt like she was annoyed that I'd chased it up. Customer service definitely needs some work, and faster service required. Not sure I'd bother with this place again!"

"Tasty pub grub, good range of choices on the menu. The atmosphere of a traditional pub, but with a lighter airy side too, nice décor, low ceilings for those over 6ft! Always lovely food with good portions, but this time on a Saturday night 3/4 of us ordered fajitas and the servings should have been for 2 added together not 3, disappointed as clearly they out the wrong order to the kitchen!"

"I went here tonight with my mother and wanted to be a busy Friday night we didn't rush. the food was nice and the best I had eaten for a long time. the service was good and for people who have commented that the staff is unfaithful and they were very helpful. I tried one of the set banquets (phuket) were good portions and many flesh and fish. I recommend her and I'd go again. fair enough it is expensive, but they can not expect gourmet food for the price of a big mac x"

"This is my go to lasagna place. I’ve never found better anywhere else. Always get a generous portion. Rich and flavoursome. I read one review that says there wasn’t enough. All I can say is they must have a huge appetite. I’m sure if they had mentioned this to the staff they would have happily given them some more. Received a nice warm welcome. Lovely traditional country pub with comfortable seating. Staff very attentive. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend."

"This was our first trip to this pub we had been at local roller skating venue about a mile away and was looking for a place to have lunch. From start girl behind the bar was welcoming and friendly. I would say its quite a traditional pub and has a large garden at the back for children. Nice big car park too. The menu had plenty of choices and enough for children to chose from as well I think some items marked either L you got for £10 at lunchtime. My granddaughter had homemade chicken nuggets and these certainly were they were chicken breasts in batter none of this processed of frozen nuggets. I had steak and Stilton pie that was delicious and homemade with puff pastry top. I've attached menu too. They also had a desert menu which we were all too full for but the kids did have Mr Whippy ice cream sauce and flake which was £2. I will definitely be going back."
