"My Mrs. and I had a nice walk around Hastings looking for a 99 cone and an oyster.. We found this lovely cafe with a little ice cream cabin.. My Mrs. is an oyster connoisseur and said it was the best she ever had... If you wants ice cream in Hastings, this is a must visit"

"What a cracking little place the cafe is. Called in twice the week we were there . The building could do with some work but don't let that put you off. The welcome was friendly, the choice of cakes tasty and the staff helpful and polite. The music ranges from the sixties on vinyl to modern on cd. Give it a go, you'll be surprised."

"This is truly a hidden gem so close to sea front on one of the side roads. As soon as we stepped in we could feel a homey hospitable welcoming by the chef and waitress. This looks like a shop so they have got lots...of Moroccan goods on for sale and a couple of tables for eating. We were received so well. For starters we had the mezze platter which was so flavourful with a range of prawn harissa, goats cheese, vegetable, hummus and kebab. We had chicken and spinach tagine, kafta with lentils and fish tagine. Now this is where the BIG surprise is the food was FULL of flavour unlike other Moroccan food which is so bland and boring. Everything was cooked to perfection our favourite was the kafte and chicken. The food had such a home made and fresh taste. We ordered one kunefe between the of us because two of us don’t like the cheesy and salty taste. We were surprised again coz the chef had got the balance so right and we all gobbled it up it tasted like clotted cream! We were so pleased with the service and food which is absolutely rare to get both of these qualities in a restaurant. We felt like we were abroad! And the last surprise was the dessert was complimentary from the chef. This was our last day of our staycation in hasting and it was the perfect ending!"

"We enjoyed a fabulous meal on Friday evening. The food was absolutely superb. I had the delicious smoked haddock with spinach and samphire, my husband loved his Cornish monkfish and my cousins were very complimentary about the fish cakes and bartered cod. The staff were great, friendly the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We shall come again, thanks for a great evening, I hope we weren’t too loud!"
