"Worst burger I’ve eaten a restaurant. Expensive and tasteless. Others ate Blinis and were not satisfield with their taste. The waiters forgot to bring butter, water etc. Had to ask many times."

"Restaurant Pihlajasaari is situated in a wooden Neo-Renaissance villa which was built in 1883. At first it was a private villa but the restaurant was opened as early as in 1929. So both the building and the restaurant are very historical. Restaurant Pihlajasaari is the only restaurant on the recreation island of Pihlajasaari. This restaurant is a summer paradise which is situated next to a sandy beach (500 meters long), beautiful rocks or cliffs and a nature reservation area with a nature trail. The distance from the harbor of Pihlajasaari is only 300 meters. It is easy to take a waterbus or a ferry from the city center of Helsinki (Merisatama or Ruoholahti) to Pihlajasaari. The voyage takes only 10 minutes. The restaurant has both indoor tables and an excellent seaside terrace. The sea view is beautiful from the end of the terrace. Both salads, soups, fish meat, vegetarian dishes, beverages, alcohol drinks, ice cream, coffee and cakes are available. Unfortunately the restaurant is open only from May to the end of August."

"This has become my nr 1 joint. Fast, friedly and respective service. I was amazed of the varity of the options they have and every single dish so far has been different. So far I have tried vegan lasagna, vegan vegetable curry, vegan rice and pork adobo. The chef suggested that I try out all the dishes and I intend to do so. Comming here the fourth time in a week and I was greeted with a big smile and complimentary fried banana as a dessert, wich of course was great. This is a relatively cheap street food joint that you dream about, when you remeber your trips to Asia. Now you can find it in Helsinki, go visit and order anything. My personal recommendations: Pork adobo (10/10) equal or better than Farang. Vegtable curry, good flavours all the way"
