"Book a reservation on the strength of Tripadvisor reviews. We do not get to Kanata regularly so this was a pleasant departure from Normal pedestrian roadhouse venues, quaint and funky. The service from Andrea was perfect and attentive, the advice superb, my lady follows a gluten free diet, so menu items were adapted to her sensitivities. Above all the food was superb and the presentation even better. Want to impress a loved one, take the to Amuse!"

"My teen daughter went there with her two friends and treated them to some food and pops. Sadly it was a terrible experience and my daughter was so upset. She spent $35 for chicken fingers and fries (she and her friends agreed) that they were awful! She couldn’t even eat it and threw it away. The poutine she ordered for her friends was better however the pops they received tasted like it had been there for a decade. To top it off the pamphlet the restaurant had wasn’t even up to date with pricing. I did call the shoe but the person who answered was very rude and defensive so I see why a young person would feel intimidated to say anything about the issues they had with their order. Terrible all around! You need to do better."

"Went here with a few friends for a night out to eat and chat. Our waiter was great, the buffet was very sub par.Lots of casseroles and deep fried food. The salad bar part of the buffet was small and terrible. I do not eat beef but did hear the carving station was good.For the size of the buffet and quality of the food, the $24.95 price on a Wednesday night was very steep.Once Mandarin Buffet opens up the road, this place will fall victim to the bad luck curse every restaurant before them at this location did."

"Was flabbergasted at the cost. First thing, I had to wait for the server to come out of hiding. I ordered two wings bucket style . Both wings had pulverized bones. I think they do that so they can make a shape out of it. It cost me somewhere around $9.25. That 's with no drink and no fries. I chose the wing because it 's generally leaner than the ribs and the breasts and thighs. Of course, it had to have a layer of fat under the skin.Popeyes for me, from now on. The store had some decent pictures of the colonel on the wall but the kernel would be embarrassed to be on their walls now.Kentucky fried Chicken has a well-earned nickname. That nickname is Dirty Bird.No, I was not happy with my meal.Dietary restrictions: Anybody on a diet has to stay out of this restaurant. Every year it gets greasier and greasier and more fat under the skin and pulverize bones as I mentioned in another write-up."

"Great spot. Clean. Ver bright. Fairly quick service. Menu is a mess and needs to be better formatted as it is a bit all over the place. Not sure if this was intentional, but only some of the items available are displayed. The menu’s confusing layout also results in very slow ordering as there are a LOT of clarifications from staff required. I was with a vegan who only noticed a vegan option after we had checked the menu and ordered.Great adherence to covid protocols, but music wasn’t turned down when plexiglass went up so with the high ceilings customers ordering and staff almost need to shout to be heard.Worth a stop."

"Wow. yummy yummy in my mouth. what an amazing selection at desserts and chocolates! almost like in willie wonkas chocolate factory. very creative desserts also like the chocolate poutins also fantastic and friendly service from the personal. I'll be back."
