"We came to this restaurant for a gathering and spending our bill more than 70rm and we chit chat inside with laughter but the staff very rude and said we are ‘bising!’ Is that a quiet restaurant that not allow us to have laughter in a Sunday afternoon? Not recommend with this kind of rude attitude staff!"

"I love everything I ordered as in my photos. They are not overly pricy. Rm10+ each of them. They are definitely delicious! Environment is not bad too, but some of the chairs can get an upgrade, my butt suffered from sitting too long. Haha."

"I could feel the good vibes just walk from the outside of the Cafe. Then, when I came in, pop! Nice ambient, with few choices of tables, the deco was so fresh with natural touch. I didnt get the chance to order the food because we're in the quick meeting at that time. I just got to order Strawberry Latte and the rest of my team order Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Mocha. It was good! For a reminder, there will be no plug or switch for a long discussion there. Overall, it is nice place to have a chill hangout!"

"Went in a group of 7 and i must say that everyone was satisfied with the food and drinks. Very original recipes indeed 'The Modern Local '. Place has a great relaxing non imposing ambience. We ended up spending 3.5 hours there, not realising how time just past us by. Would definitely go again."

"One of the coconut shake in kota kinabalu gaya Street... taste OK but not as favourable thou but still refreshing... coconut shake top with coconut ice cream (rm10plus) n their coconut pudding only at rm10... cheaper than sin kee... they do have others lunch item like chicken chop rice/ laska etc but only there for the coconut shake as the shop is known for..."
