"Very fresh moist purple carrot cake. A must try dessert here. I ordered Vongole Chorizo pasta and creme brulee. Pasta is served with lots of chorizo pieces and clams. The purple carrot cake was takeaway for afternoon tea later. They observed all dine-in SOP. Finally can dine-in after many months."

"Just amazingly awesome! Their desserts is really out of this world, fancy outlook with unique taste that different with other dessert shops. Can definitely excite your taste buds. "Got one of the monthly local special dishes as opposed to the finger food or the more Western dishes. It was ok but felt like I should have went with my instincts better and been less adventurous! Their menu is actually fantastic. Their pizza and burger selections look good. The coffee we ordered was really nice, as was the cake. Nothing was too expensive. The interior is comfortable and very cute. They also have a lot of board games and books. It is a place that you can spend a lot of time in."

"First time trying 1919 for reunion dinner with friends. Great ambience and the service was superb. Must try their signature eggplant dish recommended by their staff who was well-versed in their menu and even the historical setting of this restaurant. We had the set banquet menu and every dish was delicious. It’s a gem to be found in the centre of KL city centre and they are halal. No doubt, will revisit in the future."

"A decent number of vegan options available, so nice to have a variety of dishes to choose from. Portion size is quite generous too and prices are very reasonable. Many books to browse made it a perfect afternoon. You can bring your old books to swap with the ones on the shelves."
