"We arrived late to our apartment the owner provided this local restaurant as a recommendation when we requested someplace to eat. It was a few minutes walk from where we were staying. This was the best meal we all agreed over the 3 days in Barcelona. As others have said do not let the entrance put you off with slot machines. There is a big restaurant at the rear side. While staff are not all clappy happy they are professional, efficient trustworthy. The reason I use the last word was as we ordered our waiter would not take a second potato tapas order as he advised one was enough when we went to order more dishes he informed us we had ordered enough dishes. Guess what he was spot on! The tapas dishes we ordered were Surtido Ensaladilas, Atun Escabeche, Patatas Bravas, Pincho Moruno Lacon the party of us four were all in agreement with the quality flavour of the dishes just excellent. One of the group is a chef difficult to please so once they were happy, enough said. On the waiter's recommendation, we ordered 2 desserts to share a Santiago Tart a Catalan take on Creme Brulee neither disappointed as both were delicious. We splashed out on a €15 bottle of wine, a Blau Montsant I would seek it out, lovely red. Our meal was finished with 3 espressos. All in all well worth the recommendation especially thumbs up for an excellent waiter. We received great value at €52 for wine, water, 5 tapas dishes, 2 desserts 3 coffees. Our only regret was we went elsewhere the following 2 evenings."

"Leku (lloc en vasc), restaurant catal fundat per la famlia Amor l'any Petit, amb les taules massa properes que fa que es perdi una mica d'intimitat. Compensa de sobres ;l'amabilitat, el bon tracte i l'acompanyament durant tot l'pat. No parlem del producte. La mare ja era coneguda per les seves truites del divendres al mat per esmorzar, truites de tot tipus ;de patata, de ceba, d'escalivada. acompanyades com no, de pa amb tomquet. Si tens vols fer un pat (aproximadament el fill-xef de la casa, en Sergi Amor, que dirigeix la cuina des del seu inici amb una acurada imaginaci a l'hora de combinar sabors utilitzant productes de qualitat et dur a gaudir del moment. Crec que s un bon lloc (leku) per compartir i poder comentar. Comenaria per les croquetes de cua de bou amb una suavitat que es fon. El timbal de pop amb cansalada ibrica i salsa de festucs una barreja de contrast de textures i sabors. Les flors de carbass amb salsa romesco una combinaci de colors que el fan entrar per la vista per obtenir el resultat en boca. Els ous estrellats amb pernil d'agla sense estrellar perqu cadasc ho faci a la seva mida. Seguim compartint les delcies de llu , que s'ha de dir del lluc? noms hi ha gust. Per finalitzar un llom baix de es la part del darrera de la pea, carn sucosa, magra i tendre. Cadasc al seu punt de cocci que fa que el greix traspassi la frontera del teixit per fondre's desprs en el nostre paladar. Per fer-ho rod del tot, marinat amb un L'Alleu de D. O. Montsant (Priorat.) Cupatge de garnatxa negra i carinyena. Concentrat, potent i elegant. En boca s ample amb un final llarg i persistent. No penseu que he oblidat els postres, no hi cap ms. Un altre dia. Gratament sorprs, no oblideu reservar abans."
