"Even our French speaker had trouble understanding what you had to do in this place. But the staff our great, and we eventually got the gist. You are given a plate, which you load with your own choices of food, then take it to the...guy with the wok, who will stir fry it with your choices of sauce. We had brilliant fun here, the staff make the visit worth while and the food is brilliant. Definitely worth a visit."

"Allez j'ai testé aujourd'hui les croques de cet établissement. Eh bien j'ai beau cherché, je n'ai pas d'éléments négatifs à écrire. Le croque que j'ai mangé était délicieux, et les frites croustillantes à souhait. Idem pour mon amie. Accueil sympa. Et ca change des éternels burgers!"

"I waited almost one year before revisiting the restaurant. I think that this time it deserves the five stars. I had fish again and it was very delicious (and I am not a big fan of fish). The dessert (based on strawberries) was yummy as...well and again I had an excellent wine. This time I found the mise-en-bouche more tasty. I found it remarkable the small pastries (with raspberry) with the coffee; the chef should think about making a whole dessert with this recipe."

"We had a wonderful meal at this little place tucked away in Lille. It is a small, cosy restaurant with an emphasis on fresh food. The waitress who I presume was the owner was so hospitable and extremely patient with us. Although we had worked out most of the menu there were a few things we weren't sure about but she was happy to translate. The food is simple but delicious. Everything is fresh and seasonal and cooked to perfection. The menu is not extensive but there were sufficient choices and each dish we had was wonderful.The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed and there aren't many tables perhaps 20 to 22 covers. Even though it is a small restaurant the tables are well spaced and diners are not on top of each other.A welcoming hostess who also recommended a restaurant for the next night for us - very nice of her.A really lovely little place and certainly worth a visit. Not fancy but good honest food which was absolutely delicious .Fresh and tasty and presented beautifully."

"I went to this restaurant two nights in a row whilst in Lille on a tour. The waiters were very accommodating of our large group. The burger with dauphine potato top was a pleasant surprise - the beef patty was moist & juicy. Terrific small wine selection - the Sancerre from the Loire Valley was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed their deserts."
