"Something of a Marseillan institution, the Boulevard is great for a good value, well cooked menu du jour. They do the simple stuff very well indeed. Good charcuterie to start, followed by a great piece of bavette perfectly cooked with accompanying chips, dauphinoise potatoes and pepper sauce (other sauces are available). To round off one their lovely desserts. All for under Euros. You won't find that value on the port."

"What a pleasure to discover this small pretty place, amazing ice cream with natural fruits, the staff was so nice and joyful. The concept is really great, you can choose all the ingredients in your ice creams and smothies. We totally recommand it !!"

Les glaces artisanales sont à déguster sans modération. Les prix sont très raisonnables. On apprécie ce type d'endroit ou le touriste est très bien reçu."

"We ordered a coffee, a three scoop ice cream, a chocolate sundae and 'sex on the beach' cocktail. they all tasted great but for the price I would have liked to see a little more in portions. However, the young man who served us had a great sense of humour and accommodated our broken french and served us well and efficiently, I do wish that France had the same smoking policy as the UK though as we have become so used to sitting in such places smoke free and that part was not pleasant."
