"Around the corner from Parque Lleras, you'll find this gem of an Argentine steakhouse. Its a small place with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent and the steaks better than anything you find in the US. Look for the red and white curtains or you'll walk by without noticing and miss out on a great experience and meal."

"A Colombian friend of mine suggested we try Marmoleo(best steaks in town, he said). The Parilla is located about half way up the mountain, on the road that goes to the Int'l Airport. It does have nice views of Medellin at night the atmosphere...is very homey and like you are in a private home...but alas..it all ends at that point. My friend and I ordered an entrada(she the cream of tomate soup I ordered Ceviche Chinchuli). And we ordered our entrees at the same time, but I told the waitress(Marcela Ospina)...please bring the entradas first, prior to the entrees. Well...after waiting about 35-40 mins. a huge tray arrived with(you guessed it) entradas entrees...hmmm. And the restaurant was not crowded at all(maybe 35% of tables were filled).Please note that I have owned two(2) fine dining restaurants in my life in Florida, so I am not a food-rookie posting this.t O.K. let me talk about about the entrees. My friend enjoys a nice filet mignon periodically I enjoy a ribeye steak also. My friend ordered her filet medium well and I ordered my ribeye medium, but the filet was red raw in the center(not even warm)...not on the grill long enough...huh. Our waitress was out in left-field all night...and she had only two(2) tables this place serves steaks, so not too tough to wait on tables in a steakhouse I really wish our evening had been nice and tasty, but the number of mistakes made by the staff at Marmoleo was astounding. Oh yes...to cap off our evening, I gave our waitress the phone number of my taxista, for the trip back down the mtn. and after 1 min. she came back and told me that number did not work. The number was correct, so finally a Uber arrived to ferry us back to our lodging. I spoke with my taxista later and he was having a bite to eat at that time, cell in the taxi...he in a café. Oh yes, the prices at Marmoleo are way our of bounds for the quality of beef served/service/atmosphere. I gladly will pay premium prices for quality food/atmosphere/service anywhere, but it did not exist at Marmoleo, which was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I will not make another reservation at this dining establishment To the owner(s) at Marmoleo...I would suggest some changes to better your establishment, but the horrible mistakes your staff made are generally incorrectible, unless you make changes at the waiter/waitress positions first. And for a Saturday night(during Christmas season...on 35% of the tables were filled=hmmmmm"

"This was my second time here. The first time over a year ago was a great experience. This time everything had really declined, the service was not great (but not terrible), however the food was very, very disappointing. Small portions and only one of the courses is something that I would want to eat again. The ambience is still outstanding."

"This is a really good place to eat fresh healthy food. Not only their excellently balanced salads but also their Panne Cooks and soups are great options. All vegetables look and taste fresh. All the dishes in the menu indicate their nutrition facts so diners can know how much to sin . Mezzakuna 's juices are also another great choice. The offfer regular juices but also specialized ones according to specific needs. A tea menu is also available for those looking for new flavors. They also have nice desserts. Prices suit quality."

"We had a wonderful lunch today at Orzo. The restaurant is located at the Mall Puerto Bulevar, a place with many good dining options. Orzo is quite small, a few tables, nicely decorated, with simple, modern furniture, and if you like sports, they have a large screen (for the men in my life, this is always a very attractive feature in a restaurant! . The first thing they brought us was a little plate with four different bread rolls, baked from scratch using masa madre , a dough that does not use yeast, with whipped butter. The rolls were warm and delicious! I would go back to Orzo only for this four amazing bread bites. We really liked all our food. I already mentioned the spectacular bread! The baked crimini mushrooms, Caesar salad, creative nachos made with toasted lasagna noodles, all very good. But the Beef Tenderloin with three types of peppercorns, that was outstanding. Perfectly seared, cooked exactly at the temperature we ordered (medium , excellent sauce, a serving of orzo pasta, honoring the name of the restaurant, and a few leaves of fresh lettuce. For dessert, a moist chocolate layer cake served with vanilla ice cream. A perfect meal. The tables are under a roof but in the open air, which is very pleasant in Rionegro. Only one comment: I read on the internet that the chef uses products from their own orchard. That is a very attractive detail that should be highlighted!"
