"Decided to stop in for a bit of ice cream - I chose a small strawberry Sunday with peanuts... There were WAY less peanuts than I've had in the past & the strawberry was really just a liquid with no strawberry pieces ... all for $5.75 !! WoW!! They must be making unbelievable margin on that very small sundae !!"

"Walked past this place and it looked interesting, so thought we'd go in and eat. Service was good and our waitress was friendly. Ordered the chicken teriyaki and won ton soup, which is supposed to be their signature dish. Food was OK, not spectacular."

"They use magic plates which look bigger but actually are smaller in portion size. We had to go to McDonalds after eating here as we didn't feel full or satisfied. It was the flavor of the food which couldn't even match Thai Express. Server was friendly and working really hard. We felt bad for her as the food was taking really long and this affected her tip rate. No reason to go back there for us."

"Came here just to try the Nainaimo bar. States it has the original recipe. Only tried the bar to compare, but has an ice cream option. Obviously visited by locals and visitors. Nanaimo bar had an oily custard on top of a Oreo cookie like base with small flakes of Oreo. The proportion of base to custard to ganache was mostly base, which was 1 inch thick. Ganache was the least part of the bar. Overall, something to try but depending on your taste, may not be my favourite. Shop also has variety of old school and new candy and a good selection of ice cream for those hot days."

"DELICIOUS as always!I personally love the Nanaimo bar waffles.Both styles are wonderful, depending on your preference.Milkshake was very yummy not as thick as some may prefer, but very good!There's some cute stickers and little keychains and reusable bags there as well, and they serve bubble tea but I've never had it there (yet).Always a nice experience, indoor and outdoor seating, waffles are always served warm and delicious, would recommend!"

"Just coming out from the Ferry and looking for a place for lunch. We thought of getting the buffet but it was a little bit late for it, our server suggested a dinner combination, which was yummy and very cheap($12.95) for the two of us. Great decor and ambiance. The service was remarkable, very friendly"

"Well, we do take out periodically and Sun's was the closest to our accomodations.We pre-ordered and everything was ready exactly on time. We ordered the dinner or 4 and apart rom the generous proportions I can say I have never had better Chinese food. the best was the deep fried prawns. So if you are in the mood you will not be disappointed."
