"There's loads of places to eat in Potes, so why choose this one? simply the building was in the lea of the sun so cast a shadow over the seats as I find sitting under an umbrella in hot weather uncomfortable. We had menu del dia, a good chose of local dishes, I had noodle soup and a local bean stew with black pudding and chorizo, Mrs A had bean soup followed by ham and eggs. Vert enjoyable, with beer and water. The service was pleasant provided by two young men."

"We ate here of an evening, choosing just a main dish each. Hubby had steak and I had chicken and chips. He loved his steak. It was huge and very tender. My chicken was a bit plain. It came with a salad which the lettuce hadn't been washed because it was still gritty. Otherwise I'd have given this place full marks. Good price and nice staff."
