"Eigentlich wollten wir heute ins Himalaja in Remscheid, aber dort gibt es mittags kein Buffet. Also spontan mal in den Ratskeller der ja nun nach Umbau ein chinesisches Buffet anbietet. Also die Räumlichkeiten sind nicht wieder zu erkennen. Mir gefällt die klare offene Einrichtung sehr gut. Einziges Manko die Räume sind sehr hellhörig. Heute an einem Dienstag war das Restaurant gut besucht und das Essen war erstaunlich lecker. Alles was wir probiert haben hat gut geschmeckt und wir besuchen das Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder. Im Anbetracht des Preises von 8,50 € für das Mittagsbuffet und das es wirklich lecker war von uns die volle Punktzahl. Weiter so!"

"Super Italian at fair price! The boss himself is engaged in the matter and entertains the guests with his Italian charm. There is no fixed card, but daily changing dishes that are adapted to the season. I had the spaghetti Carbonara that were excellent. The antipasti as an appetizer and the Tiramisu as a dessert were also delicious. Since we (my wife and I almost only arrive with buses and trains, the journey should not take too long. And we want everything compact on a street or an area. It is good that in Remscheid there is the Avenue Center in the city centre and weekly markets next to it – but the lower street is always “Ohr” (Cinema, also specialist shops). In addition to the shops, there are also points for food and drinks at the Alleecenter. At the end of the shopping street, a varied dining area with several providers has established itself. You can park in the same car park for little money (for motorists. Really good for me are the products from the baker Evertzberg and cheese Halbach and on the market the meat from Bauer Kempe. After shopping we sometimes have a small hunger on site and don't want to eat long in a restaurant. We then turn our taste to “Fast Food Mode” and have no bad conscience. The filling kept what was on the map: mushrooms, tuna, ham, vegetables. This pizza was really delicious and saturating. Since we did not find desserts on offer and did not want to ask for a long time, we simply picked up an Italian ice cream café. The plant is economical. Small tables for two to four people with chairs or benches. There are no great decorations or other beautiful things. But it is also a fast restaurant. No one stays here: order, food, go. We just wanted to eat something to strengthen and then go shopping. Cleanliness The tables are quickly cleaned and briefly wiped. We were satisfied with that. A separate sanitary facility has no store here; You should use the “paid toilet” for all shops. This is so well maintained because the staff ensures cleanliness. But it costs money and it is a few meters more than usual in a restaurant.
