"Haven't been in months and decided to visit only to be told at an ice cream store that the ice cream machine is broken. So we try to order food. Chicken strip basket with gravy is heavily advertised and then we are told they don't have gravy. Fine. We get chicken strips and fries. The fries are cold and look like they've been sitting for hours. Then I remembered why I haven't been back to DQ in a while. Terrible. Avoid this place and spend your money somewhere else. "They have the best selection of meats but they have everything else to go with it! Cheesy potatoes are amazing their desserts are out of this world and they even have stuff for your for babies. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and I’ll even help you make up your mind when needed!"

"This has to be the worst McDonald's we have ever been to. The quality of the food is terrible. It's like they just slap it together. No pride in their product whatsoever. Plus the order is ALWAYS cold, cheese is not melted and there are things always missing from the order. Don't try to call and talk to Daniel the manager, he will just hang up on you. No customer service skills at all. I think he needs to go back to McD University in Des Plaines IL for more training, because he definitely did not graduate with honors. If I could give a rating of zero stars or possibly a -1 or -2, I definitely would. Stay away from this McDs. There's one that is 100% better a couple of miles north on Rockton Rd. Plus, they treat their customers with respect."

"We searched for ice cream places on our drive home and Nif T's came up with good reviews so we figured we would check it out. It is conveniently right off 17 in Roscoe. What a gem of a place!! They have a vast menu and everything was reasonably priced- it was hard to decide! Athena was kind and patient as we tried to decide... the kids got milkshakes, husband got the Peanut Butter Explosion, and I got a small hard ice cream- which is deceptively named because it was a huge serving! The best part is that a bug dropped into my son's milkshake just as he sat down to drink it, and Athena kindly made him another and made him so happy. She is the kindest person and so friendly! I would give this place a 10-star review if I could... stop here if you can, we will be back the next time we are driving through!"
