"Had breakfast in their every morning whilst staying in Valdarena, near Spoleto in Umbrai. Really lovely coffee, excellent assortment of breakfast pastries and cakes and freshly squeezed orange juice have the machine. Place is spotless. We had lunch there several times and the food is exceptional both in quality, quantity and flavour. I had the strangozi al Tartuffo and were mouthwatering, freshly hand made local pasta and didn't hold back on the truffles. Hubby had linguini with wild boar sauce and said it was outstanding too. We shared a mixed starter platter of local produce, eg. cured hams, bruschetta, chesses etc. was spectacular. Far too filling to have both. Salads were so fresh and their potatoes are wafer thin sliced potatoes. Delicious and different. The service was good and really friendly. Their mixed platter of grilled meats is superb and so is their tagliata like steak). First class food. They have a fresh home made ice cream fridge with superb selection of ice-creams and fresh whipped cream to add on top. Family run establishment. Highly recommend for a lunch , not far from Spoleto if one is driving."
