"Here you can definitely linger and munch deliciously. There is everything you want to eat on the coast and that makes fish lovers happy: shrimp salad, pollock schnitzel, fried fish, smoked fish, eel, fries, fried potatoes, cream herring, dill bites etc.. and everything freshly caught and homemade.. You can also snack on ice cream ..we had to wait a bit but not very long. The staff is friendly and well organized. Sitting outside means enjoying the view of the harbor basin, almost no annoying gull mouths and good food. We each ate a fried fish with fries.. but a plate for 2 would have been enough.. the portions are huge! The price is reasonable though.. we recommend eating here and not at the stalls on the nearby beach!"

"I felt so comfortable with the entire family, ages 2 to 75. The ice cream was top-notch, so we came here again almost every evening after dinner during our 10-day vacation! My grandchildren were served as courteously as little adults!"

"Ate pizza and pasta and were very happy with all the dishes and the short wait for the food. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly service and the beautiful toilet. We'll try ice cream next time. You should know that you can't pay by card, luckily we had enough cash with us"

"During our vacation in Hooksiel we stayed at Da Rocco for dinner. The restaurant looked quite inviting at first glance, as the beautiful weather invited to sit outside. Since I don't contract dairy products, I asked before ordering whether they are in the Bolognese sauce. The service asked in the kitchen and only meant that she can't say it exactly. Then I asked that the Bolognese was made himself, that was hunted, but made me somewhat suspicious, because if I cook myself, I also know what's in it. We ordered a total of two pizzas and spaghetti Bolognese. We were very disappointed with the food. The pizzas were quite small and pretty faded with 24 cm (big pizza). Also the spaghetti were a much too small portion and also cooked without taste and sweet. Every finished product tastes better and I don't think too much of it. And € 5, for 0.4l apple choir limit already at nausea. The food was really disappointing."
