"We found out the landlady of the cherry tree inn at Willingham wouldn't mind if we parked our motorhome in the pubs large car park and only 3 miles on the local bus to Lincoln Christmas market. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed drinks in the bar where the locals made us very welcome. On the Friday morning Angela (who works behind the bar her husband Steve very kindly offered to give us a lift in his car to Lincoln . Everyone was so freindly. We booked in for Sunday lunch where we met landlady Kay who had also cooked the food, and it was excellent, the meat was so tasty and tender. The pub itself is immaculately clean and inviting, we are already planning our next trip."

"Not in front of our door and over an hour drive away, but our second visit in so many days is so good! this time for an excellent Sunday dinner for two. between us we ordered chicken,- kicherbsen- and kartoffel soup and king Prawn cocktail, followed by bratbeef with all circumcisions and roojau would have had it with new kartoffels and had it before tom. beautiful arome and no morsel on both tellers! very generous portions and beautifully cooked and presented. did not want to miss out on their delicious desserts, so orange gels had packed with chocolate wedges and ice and pimms gele with obst and covered with ice: strawberries, kiwi, orange segments, bromberries, blueberries. I tell them it was a solid and very favorable. family run, home cooking, it is the best place for miles around. get to the albion, it is a jewel of an ortes."

"Wow...if you are a steak pie fan then look no further, simply the best I've had... Large portion packed with suculent meaty chunks that melt in your mouth and not an ounze of chewy fat, nicely cooked veg and a choice of either mash or chips topped of with gravey... all for £14. It's a must."

"Had a late and leisurely lunch at this wonderful venue a few miles north of Lincoln. Homely traditional pub with a big welcoming log fire. Staff and other customers were very friendly. Great menu choices. The cod and pie dishes were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We’re already planning our next visit."
