"Saw it all over Instagram, had to give it a go. Was really nice but was a bit messy to eat. Could have used a better wrap/container for the ice cream donuts. Overall was delicious though and a good summer treat! #newbalance997xconcepts"

"The restaurant sets on a second story on Queen Street opposite the Dior boutique. Lovely ambience.<br/ <br/ I ordered the snapper on toast. The fish was nicely grilled with a good mixture of spices, however the fish was a little stale. The chai latte was tasty, but the flat white was average.<br/ <br/ The cheesecake with chocolate was divine. The chocolate base was soft and moist, topped with a rich layer of cream cheese.<br/ <br/ Service was a little disappointing, we waited at the door and at the table quite a while before getting serviced. Food was a little slow and the staff were very inattentive.<br/ <br/ Taste: 6.5/10<br/ Presentation: 8/10<br/ Service: 6/10<br/ Ambience: 8/10<br/ Value for money: 8/10<br/ <br/ Price $25 per person"

"Transitional Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant, small and cute one. Polite and friendly waitress nice and professional chef. Scotch fillet is juicy and tender, set menu can keep u a healthier way of eating, salad and miso soup is light and yummy! I’ve been here for several times, and always recommend it to my friends."

"We went there with family friends 10pp) over Queen’s birthday and were completely blown away by the standard and variety of food. I should have taken more photos but once the orders started to arrive to the table, we were too busy eating and chatting. <br/>We had the sashimi and sushi platter to start with which was fresh and beautifully arranged. The tempura was light and fluffy. The sukiyaki pot set was just perfect for the chilling night. We also had the fried rice and prime beef which took me back to my childhood memories. <br/>We haven’t had such quality and variety Japanese food for ages. Will definitely be back soon to taste the rest of the menu!"

"I ordered waffles with vanilla ice cream and a hot chocolate. It was deliciously amazing. Excellent customer service from the two lovely staff at Theobroma Sylvia Park Mall. Thanks for making my first experience at Theobroma memorable. Will definitely go back next time I visit Auckland."

"I hate Zomato, but I downloaded the app just so I could help you all know how totally worth a visit this place is (my bf is younger than me and apparently Zomato is the app to use, and now that I've downloaded it I'm quietly impressed, but I digress).<br/ <br/ I made a booking for 10 people, and we were seated at a table in the front, separate from the main seating area, which meant that our boisterousness (aka pre-drinking) didn't unduly impact on the the other guests. <br/ <br/ Food: On the small side, but filling, and tasty. $35-45 for entree main, can't complain.<br/ <br/ Service: If this was America I would have tipped but not felt salty about it. Attentive but not over-attentive, they nailed it.<br/ <br/ Wine: Actual decent wine for $40-50ish a bottle.<br/ <br/ Summary: Whoever owns this place has done a great job of balancing price with great service and tasty, affordable food. I can't speak highly enough about the staff on the night we visited (26 Oct), thank you to them, the chef and anyone else who played a part in our dining experience."

"Like seriously, who does not like Ben and Jerry’s. Actually I do know one weirdo that claims they’re too sweet! These are definitely the beat value scoops in town, the flavour, the milk quality the chunks of flavour and goodness! De-lish!<br/>They also do uber eats which is very VERY dangerous"

"What a gorgeous place for a high tea. I went to this Cafe last to last weekend with my two girlfriends for high tea. We made a booking and requested for specific dietary requirements( different for all three), they called me back to check twice so they are very clear about that and happy to accomodate. <br/>The place feels luxurious the moment you step in and has an esthetic feel to it, very bright and has a pleasant view. <br/>The staff is really polite and welcoming. However, I didn't want to have any hot beverage and requested for a juice for which costed me a $9. Yeah, bit of a pinch might have had a champagne instead. Have to say the juice was extremely refreshing. <br/>Everything they served from mushroom quiche to finger sandwiches also their crossoint are very flavoursome. There were more scones and sweet stuff compared to savory though. For me the coconut strawberry panacoda was the hero it was delicious. <br/>We spent good 3 hours there and had an enjoyable experience. Definitely going back!"

"Stumbled upon here quite accidentally but very glad we did. <br/ <br/ Ordered the haloumi and the peanut pancake which seems to be the highlight, and for good reason it tastes just as amazing as the pictures look. The cabinet food all looked really awesome as well, would definitely have a hard time choosing next time I come! Overall just a decent, busy little brunch place in Ponsonby central."
