"Easter Sunday, 10am, whilst trying hard to detour myself from overindulging at another favourite cafe, I decided it was time to visit Dad Dave's, and sooooo glad I did!<br/ <br/ Promptly greeted and seated with a menu, I settled for the Middle Eastern.<br/ My food was served after a short unnoticed wait, as sitting along the front window, I enjoyed the warm breeze whilst observing the Yarravile culture.<br/ <br/ Exploring the plate, which was full of flavours and textures that perfectly complimented each other, I soon realised I had spent a whopping 30mins polishing it off (no phone or distractions involved .<br/ <br/ Upon ordering my takeaway coffee (which also tasted amazing, and EXTRA HOT, as I requested and paying the bill, I felt obliged to personally thank the talented Chef for an amazing breakfast, which was acknowledge with a glowing smile.<br/ <br/ The beautiful girl at the register was thoroughly attentive and kindly advised me of their Pre Order service, as I had mentioned that I've been meaning to visit on a weekday (on the way to work , however was worried I'd run late.<br/ <br/ Thank you keep up the great work all.<br/ See you shortly for my next adventure! <br/ <br/"

"My score 4.0 stars (wg from many visit). j and I had blown up here at the sa thu 21st dec, and I finally remembered taking some pictures. <br/ <br/ j had the same court as last review – very nice again. I had the big breakfast – good mushies and eggs, plus many beautiful speck and a very delicious black pudding snow. begleiter countess grey and flat white were also good.<br/ <br/ sep 2018. the personal is relaxed and welcoming, coffee and eggs are always consistently good. j had the avo smash w roasted cherry toms and feta on toast, then added 2 poached eier. it was really good and quite substantial in the size the feta was excellent. <br/ I had the mushrooms on toast, which comes with 2 chopped eggs, so added a cheese kransky as a debt, the tasty (smoky, salty love). the second time I had the mushrooms and they were great again. large dark mushrooms, rich in taste and all now and then they get an additional burst of fresh thymian. <br/ <br/ a chilled place to hang with a good coffee or brunch while watching a steady stream of people who are spun in for their TA caffeine fix and then broken down again."

"Delicious Food and Cosy Atmosphere. <br/ <br/ We visited L'Uccellino before attending a movie at The Sun Theatre. The waiter was great. She managed to serve the entire restaurant and at a great speed too. <br/ <br/ We enjoyed The Saganaki a very big standout. We also enjoyed the SLOW Cooked Beef Ragu Gnocchi. The Gnocchi tasted very home made and delicious. Absolutely loved that. <br/ <br/ We finished off with some Tiramisu which was also quite good. Slightly different to the traditional one that I would have thought at an Italian Restaurant. It was more like a cake sort of dish, but it was still delicious."

"This is a popular place and we were a little late after the usual lunch rush on a weekend. Having been to India many times I was intrigued with the dahl and dosa combination. This is a new dish and two poached eggs are floating...on a dahl island. The three little dosas are crunchy on the outside and soft and light inside. A very clever adaptation of a typical Indian breakfast. The dahl had a good spiciness without being too overwhelming. My better half tried another new dish vegetarian with pumpkin, lentils, halloumi and cauliflower which she enjoyed as well. Coffee, as usual, was excellent. This remains one of our favourite spots for a Sunday lunch."

"Bopha Devi was a great experience and one the Fox can recommend.<br/ <br/ Food was reasonably priced, and was great tasting and quick to the table. In this particular experience the Fox had lemongrass Kroeung beef strips as well as Saraman a sweet curry, peanut dish) and finishing off with the chargrilled suger banana. Everything presented well and cleanly and pleasantly suprised us with flavours which we did not expect.<br/ <br/ Service was quick and functional with the waitress presenting with a warm smile and conducted friendly, prompt service which was appreciated.<br/ <br/ Where Bopha Devi lost marks was mainly in venue. The area is small and quite cramped. Because of the limited space the over sized tables didnt help. However, the area which is available is presented nicely and warmly, providing a close intimate experience in the winter.<br/ <br/ Bopha Devi suprises guests with intresting flavours which the majority populace may be unaware of, it is for this reason, as well as what is mentioned above that the Fox reccomends Bopha Devi.<br/ <br/ A 4 out of 5!"
