"Funky place for lunch. The Pad See Ew was quite tasty and had just the right amount of seasoning. The Pad Thai on the other hand didn't have a lot of flavour, could have done with a bit more spice and peanuts. Must go back to try the other dishes which looked very interesting."

"I have been meaning to put this review now for awhile and just had not had the time to bother to do it. But it affected me so much and I had to tell the story of my foodie experience at this restaurant. So I went to this place a couple of years ago to celebrate my graduation. I know it has been two years but till today I still have not gotten over this place. I had the lobster ravioli. After a couple of hours when I got home I immediately fell sick and had the worse diarrhoea I have had in my life. I actually fainted and took me many hours to feel slightly better. I could not believe how bad the reaction was. I was so sick. After paying about $250 for our meal, I was not only sick in my stomach but out of pocket one of the most expensive meals I have had at that time. I have not been back to that restaurant and will not be going back. It was awful."

"You can't see this tiny noodle connection from the China Town main road, but if you find it by chance, you are for a treat. Fresh, hot, delicious pasta dishes and soups, huge portions, very affordable prices and fast service. Take out or eat... if you can find a table. The house can't blame."

"With a friend to order the choconana honey toast, we were shocked to find that the amount that was given has been halved since the last time that we were here, so there is a very expensive dessert at $13,90! the customer service was practically not existent, the employee who took our order looked like our existential has upset him. when we were asked for an additional teller, we were told by hand that they did not have any available, something I very hard to believe that there were only four others in the caffe. the service was also incredibly slow to get almost 30 minutes. the toast was in order, but the terrible bad customer service and a significant decrease in the portion size means we will not be back."

"Went there after 8 pm for a late night dinner, Restaurant was not busy and as usual ordered Ramen, Wagyu Beef, Unagi to start with. We were simply appalled when we were served with a Ramen Bowl with severe chipped edges. Being very particular with...brokened/chipped edges on the bowl and plate, we voiced out our displeasure with a staff. He offered a replacement. The replacement was one of the worse experience we had for a Bowl of Ramen. The soup base tasted like water and it is as if it was topped out with water from the bowl that was earlier been replaced. This really pissed us off when the chef came over and tasted it and insisted it is original . We have been eating Ramen along time at this Restaurant and Genki also owned by the same owner. Never have we encountered such horrendous bowl of Ramen and being told it is original taste (Chef came out and tasted it) especially when we had actually taste the same Ramen before it was replaced. There is no way we can't tell the difference and we really got pissed off with their defensive attitude. Definitely we can tell a thick ramen soup base with one that tasted completely like water. This is really unprofessional from a Notable Japanese restaurant and which is not what a Real Japanese's standard of services should be liked. SERVING HORRIBLE RAMEN IN A BROKEN/CHIPPED EDGE BOWL (POTENTIALLY TAINTED WITH BACTERIA). I cannot understand why a service orientated business can ignore such details. It is really disheartening to see how we were treated especially we have been supporting Japanese cuisine here in Adelaide !"
