"On my way to Golden I spontaneously decided to have a short stop in Cranbrook and look for a coffee which is not Mc Café, Tim Hortons,... As soon as I entered I fell in love with this Café. Lots of different possibilities to sit down, may it be chair or couch, but still not too big or overcrowed. It is decorated with funny pictures, sayings and nice details without being too much. I chose a turtle (too sweet for my taste) and a small piece of bakery. The service was very good, friendly, well explaining what a „turtle“ actually is and later on asking whether I like it. Unfortunately Cranbrook is a little bit too far from home to come more often. It for sure would be one of my favorite places to drink coffee and spend some time..."

"Food was typical but one of our large party had a coffee from the hotel and was asked to dispose of it or leave (she was ordering a meal) and some of our group asked for their meals "to go" and were told they couldn't "eat in" with some of us because they need a plate or they had to leave. When i suggested the restaurant had too many rules, staff replied "its the way it is". Is it though?"
