"First time here?: yes (total tourist trap, don 't go) I Ordered: Mexican spaghetti. Weird I know, but it was highlighted as a specialty item so why not. Friends ordered: Lasagna, noodles and meat sauce, potato Restarooms: Did not check, was too upset about the food. Would recommend? H E double hockey sticks NO. Never in my life would I recommend this place to anyone not even on my worst enemy. (Read more below) This was the first time my friends and I went to Nashville. I expected great bars, music, and sites to see. The trip was fantastic untill my friends and I had dinner. Demos ' certainly set an all time low in food quality. This place was highly raved by my uber driver,who is a local, had decent reviews (4.2 on Google, 3.5 on yelp) and constantly packed lines. Therefore, I had high hopes. We waited 25 mins for our table then an extra 35 mins to receive our food. Do not even get my started on the rolls, you cannot tell me those are made fresh, because they surely tasted stale. My chicken and rice soup was salty water. And my meal itself was utterly inedible. We all eat with our eyes first and I wanted to claw mines out. I took two bites. The meat and beans tasted like chili from a can that was dumped onto my plate covered with super processed cheese, not fresh jalapenos(the stem was still included when I inquired about it to the manager she told me they came from a jar), and last but not least topped with a glop of sour cream. Honestly, this was my mistake for ordering this. What does an Italian place know about Mexican cuisine? I felt as though the manager could have approached us better than So I hear we don 't like our food. How about a greeting then ask us how could she help resolve our problems? She says the meat is grind daily. This could be true, however, it looks like someone regurgitated meat on the plate and served it. I mentioned it to my server and she was really nice about it. I felt bad for her because the table next to me also complained. Only complaint about her is that she did not come and check up on us once until the end and asked if wanted togo boxes. Which did not end that way. We still tipped her even though our meal was comp 'd Friends food: 1. NO VEGAN/VEGETARIAN OPTIONS I felt so bad for my friend who had to eat a plain baked potato because they could not accommodate her eating restriction. Could not even offer steam vegetables. 2. Friend who ordered lasagna. If he told me he could eat Taco bell every day of his life but could not eat that it surely says something. The meat tasted gritty and weird. 3. Friends who ordered pasta and meat sauce. They said you get for what you pay for . Although one of them got a stomach ache during our ride home."
