"I’d say the coffee is pretty good for the speed. But please for the love of god start to use a spread tool to put cream cheese in the bagels. There is always 3/4 of the bagel not covered."

"Coffee is fantastic. The art shows are usually really amazing making me wish I had more money to burn on things like that. The baristas are super nice and fast. The place is clean and the food is always delicious. Plus I can bring my big unfriendly dog in to dine with me!!!"

"Best tea selection in the area. Good coffee, though I wish they had more creative options (strawberry milk, coconut syrup, cinnamon creamer, etc. I just feel like their offerings are too conventional). The food is good, not great. I like their avocado toast with bacon. They used to serve their scones with clotted cream and jam, which I loved, but they stopped doing it, I think because not enough people ordered it. Shame. My biggest gripe lately is that they’re only open until 2pm. I miss the days when I could work there for hours, fueling myself with tea and pastries and sandwiches. The COVID signage they’ve implemented is confusing. I think the places that require masks or vax cards have it right, whereas Steap and Grind has indoor seating but labels on each table saying to keep your mask on, and nothing about vaccine cards. I think if you’re going to have indoor seating, people should not have to wear masks at their tables, and should not be made to feel uncomfortable about not doing so. If there is a concern with COVID, require vax cards for those dining indoors without masks. I think between the limited hours and alienating/confusing COVID signage, they’re losing a lot of customers. They are also understaffed, and the employees are visibly stressed out. I want to frequent them more and give them my money, but they make it tricky. I hope they are able to hire who they need, expand their hours, figure out their COVID messaging, and get that delicious unhealthy clotted cream back on their menu!"

"They have many vegetarian options, but not vegan. I wanted to get shorts that I saw on their menu online, but they didn't have it in the load. Lense soup was tasteful and rich in content. I was a bit salty after my taste. the brotrolle was okay. all containers and utensils are available. I took a picture and published her company philosophy on her wall. I don't know how much of it is true when I look at all the disposable thing they create. that sounds like a good marketing."
