"Used to love this place cuz it was near home and had cheap and decent banh mi. They changed the pickled radish to cabbage and it now no longer tastes like a banh mi. It tastes like sad mi. Would rather get a $10 banh mi that tastes like banh mi than whatever that sad $6 thing is they have."

"I came here on my birthday, such a wonderful restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. The location is PRIME by the waterfront overlooking the marsh and marina in a quiet area, I ordered mee Goreng and Kari Massaman curry dish both with beef and I am so pleased with the flavor! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everybody I know."

"Went to the Captain's Boil on Easter Monday. The decor has a very nautical feel, but with a modern upbeat vibe. There is a large variety of seafood from crawfish to lobster, and it is fairly pricey - $40/ 1lb of crab, $50 for a lobster etc. The premise is simple, you pick your seafood, and your sauces, they bring it out in a bag. No cutlery, or plates, just a big roll of paper towel which you'll need. They do need a place to put shells, like a shell bucket, as the mess ends up all over the table. Not a place to go if you are wearing good clothes, I recommend putting on the bib! It was a fun experience, but service was very slow, the waiter forgot to put in an entire order. Don't ask for anything.. it will take a long time to get it. No followup.Our waiter left the building -- without even mentioning it, and we were left trying to pay the bill.. waiting for someone to come. They were apparently short staffed, but the service wasn't good. it is new in Richmond, so perhaps with more experience this will improve. Expect to pay about $35-$50 per person, and have a long wait, for a unique dining experience."

"There is so many many Good dim sum Chinese restaurants in Richmond ! some of the restaurants do have the problem with there terrible parking ,that's why a lot of customers try to stay away !this restaurant is good example ,I do hear a great reviews about there Dim Sum and dinner , but I stay away because the parking , (unless you do not mind walk less a block away ! I was in neighbourhood with my girlfriend #3 to see her friends , so we park at there apartment ,and just walk across the road for dinner , surprised at weeknight the parking lot is full already ! the restaurant is in a small plaza ,inside the restaurant is very big ,and the ambiance ,atmosphere is very clean and very relax ,,the staff very friendly ,if you like seafood ,this is the right place ,our friend order the Deluxe seafood set menu , oh ! Mamma Mia ! the King Crab is so big (10 pound and fresh from the tank !delicious ,fresh top quality ingredients remained me in Hong Kong ! the braised Sea Cucumber and Goose Feet is very different , I love every bit ,but I was very upset about the Shark Fin Soup ! I refused to try it ! ,over all ,the food is excellent ,not too much M.S. G .,and not oily at all , the pea tips is little over cooked ! the menu do have a lot to choose from ,price is very reasonable ,good value , attentive services , , very delightful seafood !"

"Paid $5 for RAW potatoes that I’m now forced to cook myself. Food showed up cold and under done, eggs overdone. Find a mom and pop diner to eat at instead, $5 for a side of raw potato is ridiculous."
