"Barcelona is always an amazing chain of restaurants to get high quality drinks and tapas. The four of us were quickly seated and ordered several tapas and drinks. The tapas were incredible (I forgot to take photos and only got one… . Empanadas were super tender and savory on the outside while encased in a crispy exterior. The other crispy fried appetizers with with cheese and meats were unique and delicious in their own ways. The view of the street from this restaurant is also great. You can watch the bustle of the city go by while enjoying the cool and shaded seating of this restaurant. The only reason for the 4 stars is because it’s a zoo here. So many people trying to come eat here leads to long lines and people loitering outside. Make sure to come during a non-peak hour to enjoy this experience itself!"

"When I think of DC, I think of Barcelona Wine Bar. It’s genuinely the best restaurant in DC and is relatively affordable. My partner and I love the cathedral heights location. Katie, the manager, has become a staple for us. She really makes us feel at home and knows how to be a manager that makes customers wanna come back.Food: 5/5"

"We were so disappointed. We have been to declaration a few times for their gluten free pizza and loved it. We went for an early dinner for my daughter's birthday and the gluten free pizza (gluten allergy). The waitress was great, but informed us that the chef just told her they were out of the gluten free crust. We explained we only came because of that crust for my daughter's birthday. She left and came back, saying the chef will make some gluten free crust but it would take an extra 15 minutes. We told her that was completely fine and happy to wait for the crust. Unfortunately, one we got the pizza the crust wasn't cooked inside. It made it very chewy and not tasty at all. We were tired of messing with the issue and it was getting late for the toddler so we ate a little bit of it. The restaurant was not busy at all either."

"We celebrated our birthdays with the family. Del Mar takes Spanish food on excellence. Every court exceeded expectations. The service was above the top and since we celebrated our birthday, the staff placed us in a private space with a great view of the National Wharf. I have followed Fabio in Maestro for his days and his kitchen seems to set new standards."
