"Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! If I could give this place ten stars I would! I went there New Year's Eve and I am really glad I did. A wonderful reminder that simple things, perfectly done, can be wonderful. This is a place for perfect, flawless, simple sushi. If you are looking for specialty rolls, mayonnaise, dozens of options, lots of side dishes, or bargain sushi, go elsewhere. If you are looking for absolutely fresh, hand selected fish, perfectly cut, perfectly seasoned, perfectly assembled, so that every bit of natural flavor and nuance comes through, in the kind of place that pickles their own ginger, grates real, fresh wasabi by hand, and treats every type of fish as a completely different ingredient, you probably cannot do better anywhere in metro Vancouver. The menu is small. The prices are by the piece. You pay for every mouthful. But every mouthful is perfect."

"Incredible sushi near stadium chinatown station.We had the yum yum crunchy roll, which is avocado, yam tempura, cream cheese with some sweet soy sauce and crispy yam tempura sprinkled on top and it was one of the best vegetarian special rolls I've had in my life.They also serve hot green tea before your meal, and have a nice selection of Japanese beer and soju.Try them out!"

"DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE ANYMORE! Sushi ville was always our go to. We just ordered a full order of spicy salmon sashimi with the sauce on the side. The picture below is the portion. It looks like 2 pieces of sashimi cut up into smaller pieces. This was $16.95. I went back and asked the lady and she said this is their portion everyday, not a problem. This is normal daily I will probably never waste my time here ever again. Every other sushi place Ive visited recently has about 4x the size for a full order of sashimi around $16-20. Hopefully they bring their quality back to before until then I will not be coming here again."

"Very good menu selection. Sort of a Korean-Japanese fusion. Food quality is good. Portion size is appropriate, and presentation is attractive, if not overly artistic. Service is friendly. Comfortable dining area. Prices are very reasonable. It's become our go-to sushi restaurant. I think they recently did a minor renovation and the dining area is modernized and quite attractive. It continues to be one of our preferred restaurants."

"Great value, friendly team, fresh ingredients! Nice new decor as of Nov 2016 and new owners/team. Sushi Chef Danny, wife (server) Joyce, so enthusiastic as is Kitchen Chef Ken. Great value combination I had: Handy Roll $9 (california, dynamite, yam long rolls (uncut) on beautiful plate) what a meal! My daughter had a simple chicken roll and Kelly added a nice pretty salad too. Glad to have these guys in the neighbourhood! Roll party tray very affordable too, had one done for party on Dec 23. Very affordable and good sushi. Previous owners made a different thickness (more rice) sushi. So good now!"
