"This is an edit of my previous review. I think there was originally some confusion with the staff over whether honey was vegan and the chocolate flavour used honey as the sweetener, but a steady stream of Leicester vegans made a difference and they changed the recipe! Now there always seems to be one vegan chocolate sorbetto, and sometimes chocolate orange or some other variant. At the moment they're also serving a coconut flavour which is very creamy and a good foil to the other, more intense flavours, but since the flavours change regularly I don't know how long that will stay a fixture in the cabinet. Other than that, the fruit flavours are very good. I've tried strawberry, melon blueberry, kibana (kiwi banana), mixed red berry, fig, pineapple, blood orange, tangerine, er... I forget the others! The things that stopped me giving this place a 5 score were that it's not entirely vegetarian I was told the glaze on one of the cakes is gelatine, so veggies beware. They have now started labelling the vegan options but the sorbets and ice cream are next to each other so although each one has it's own scoop it might not be the best choice for those with a dairy allergy in terms of cross contamination."

"Like some of the other reviewers of this place we've driven/ walked past and thought about trying it out. We agreed we should have tried earlier, it's little gem. Nothing fancy just well-cooked food basic mediterranean cuisine. You sort of felt like you'd just stopped off at a trattoria or taverna, while on holiday. Pretty basic decor, nothing fancy but good friendly atmosphere. It's now on our list."

"Excellent service with friendly and smiley staff. The open table booking system did not register with the restaurant , even though I had a confirmation reference but they still managed to accommodate my table of five at prime time on a Saturday lunch service. Very efficient."

"Had a meal here with a friend that was visiting, the food is rather interesting as it’s not your typical Chinese, it’s more Mongolian-ish if that makes any sense. The flavours are amazing, try the rose tea, delicious!"
