"We had Valentines dinner here and we were looking for a gourmet dinner. Calamari was good, not the best I’ve had but good. Salmon was pretty good too. The brownie and raspberry sherbet was amazing and the best part! Drinks were $15/ea which was a bit excessive. Nice evening and friendly service."

"Oysters had very little brine because they had been poorly shucked and/or because they were placed on the ice in a tipped position. Had to ask for lemon wedges, which the bartender grabbed from a jar with his fingers. Fried okra no better than what you'd find in the frozen food section of a grocery store, with a dipping sauce that tasted like ketchup mixed with mayo. Shrimp and grits huge pile of grits that needed way more salt, bits of sauteed onions and green peppers, and a handful of shrimp that had an oddly soft texture, reminded me of the kind of peeled and deveined shrimp you get from a chain restaurant salad bar. Gumbo thin and a bit gritty, like it was made from a box mix and not with a proper roux, with chicken that tasted from a can and unremarkablely tasting soft slices of sausage. Even if it had tasted good, they charged for a about cup. Etoufee bizarrely looked like a chowder and tasted like Campbell's cream of something soup. Also for a cup, with a pile of rice in it. Beignet sampler large, doughy, oily fritters, more like sopapillas, especially the one drenched in honey. The chocolate syrup tasted like Hershey's. One of the worst meals I've ever had in Boulder."
