"No great experience. The food was 50/50. Some were fine, some weren't. In any case, we did not wish what we did for quality. We wanted to make sure that our big group could be accommodated that she was later in the evening. When it came to ordering drinks, we were told that they switched off half the bar and only offered a limited menu. Half of the table was communicated to the appetizers and the ordered entrees, could not be made. Eating options we stuck with weren't great. Since we respected the restaurant and staff enough to ensure that we could come too late, I expected the same respect in return to inform us that while we could eat, many things would not be available. Whatever wrap that was ordered looked awful and didn't taste much better. Sweet potatoes were served less than warm and tasted when they looked. Philly would have been good if it were served hot. Fries were also less than warm. Nachos wasn't good. By service we have tipped generously, but for 13 of us it was a server that forgot orders, not refilled drinks, and made it obvious that he did not want to be there. I'm not back."

"I brought my family into the facility for a first time experience at this particular location to celebrate my nephew 's dual enrollment graduation. The entrance hostess immediately rejected seating us at 9:18pm as I looked around to notice we were among the limited melanin in the guest area. She said We closed the dining area early and we 're not seating anymore guests . I told her, Your facility doesn 't close until midnight. We 'd like to be seated for dinner. She became argumentative so I asked for the manager. The manager tried to offer us the bar when 4 of the 7 people in my party were minors. She then told me it would be a 30-40 minute wait because another group was scheduled to come in and they didn 't have enough staff. I told her that what she said to me was unacceptable and that I 'd like information to contact the regional office. As she began to write the information I requested, I told her who I was and We 'll wait the 30-40 minutes to see how this pans out. Within 4 minutes the manager apologized and we were seated. A waitress was then assigned to us, whom I gave a generous cash tip BEFORE she took our orders. She was pleasantly surprised and gave great service. The manager apologized a second time for the young lady at the entrance. I was cordial and we went on with our dining experience. There was a cleaning towel and spray sitting on the tables across from us during the entire experience. The smell of the moist towel interrupted the aroma of our food but we didn 't acknowledge it because after 3 staff members came into our area, I wanted to observe their cleaning practices only to be disappointed. The restrooms needed attention and their sanitation practices could use some training. Nevertheless, it was tolerable because obviously, no one knew any better. The food was mediocre in that two adult meals were too salty and oily (we couldn 't finish it). The artichoke dip was over-baked, the pizza was bland and did not resemble the photo inside the menu at all, and one of the children ordered fire cracker shrimp but never received it. The manager took 10% off of our $200+ meal which was kind but not necessary. I tipped the waitress in cash a 2nd time for her hospitality and service. She was humbly surprised and grateful for our generosity. We left disappointed but were willing to try again... My second visit was with my twin daughters and their twin friends. The same encounter happened at the entrance with the same hostess. I was told that the dining area closed at 9pm and the time was 9:01pm. I asked for the manager but this time, she didn 't come and after a 5 minute wait the hostess returned and took us to a table in THE BACK of the restaurant by the kitchen. The restaurant was practically empty. I inquired about the waitress who served us 4 days prior but I was told she was dropped from the schedule. Within minutes, she walked by and greeted us as she was serving other guests. The new waitress was rough around the edges but ver"

"The atmosphere was inviting, location was great at the end of the Riverwalk and I had hopes but I was quite disappointed. I ordered a Ribeye steak and for a $40 steak, I expected much better. It had no seasoning and was just covered in mushroom gravy. It was cooked as I asked but with no flavor, it just didn 't appease to me. Also, it came with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. Both bland, no flavor. There was a party upstairs playing VERY loud music that was distracting. Our server (luckily can 't remember his name) greeted our table by telling us how busy he was and if we needed anything to just 'holler '. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming by far. We even had to ask for bread plates after he brought our bread out after sitting there for about 15 minutes. Food came in a reasonable amount of time as to be expected. My daughter had pasta and husband had Jambalaya. Both said their meal was just 'okay '. Expected much more from this location. Won 't be coming back."

"Been here many times, including to host corporate events, and had always enjoyed it. Unfortunately this time was not good at all. Daughter found long hair in sandwich and when remade sandwich was brought back out it was wrong. Waitress tried hard and asked managers to come over several times. One finally did and could not have been more short and less empathetic. They took off the meal with the hair after accidentally double charging for it but offered nothing else for the situation with the dinner being to celebrate a birthday. We will not be returning to eat there for a while unfortunately."

"First time there and the food was good! Their oxtails are the best I’ve had. Sides were on point. The juice (lemonade)was way too sweet, but I wasn’t there for that anyways. Definitely will return. Adding to the review. Wish they would answer their phone so I could find out if they catered for thanksgiving. Live too far to just drive there and ask. Smh!"
