"I wanted a healthy meal and Govinda's delivered. The menu of the day ($15,000) included blackberry juice, celery soup and a main plate with salad, fritters, rice, vegetables and a sauce. The food was delicious and the service homely. Afterwards I bought a tasty but different vegan chocolate bun for takeaway dessert. Curiously, Govinda's two seating options were on the floor and at a table raised quite high."

"The only good in this place is the location. The service was bad and rude, our waiter obviously didn't want us there. I had to convince the waiter to give me an additional license so that my husband and I could share the bandeja paisa. Before we left, he cleaned up our table and took my husband half full of beer and held his finger in it. We had to draw his attention to bringing it back, although his dirty finger had already been put in the bottleneck at this point. He didn't even offer to bring a new one and hardly apologize. The food was ok, you can not really screw up the bandeja paisa, although I am not very impressed by aromas."

"We were taken here by our private tour guide where we met Stephen (the owner), his wife, and his son. It’s truly a family restaurant with a beautiful open air patio and AMAZING food! Stephen is super sweet, has great English, and a huge smile! We did Bogota beer company tastings, had some of their rosé sangria while we were given a delicious appetizer of patacones! We ordered cheesy chicken, steak wrapped in bacon with mushroom sauce and a seafood medley with trout, lobster, clams in a tin foil pouch with a light white/cream sauce. Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. Amazing work by the chef. Beautiful experience and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone in Guatape. Delicious food and sweet family owned restaurant!"

"I've been with my family in October 2016. The Staff was very nice and the food has been prepared freshly. The food was very nice and tasty. As a drink we got a fresh guanabana juice served. I liked how no sugar was added, instead honey was offered fo We had a onion soup as a starter which was absolutely delicious. As a main course we got served mushrooms with avocado cream, rice with peanuts and a salad. The salad had fruits added which I liked. What I did it like too much is that the grapes had a lot of hard stones. The restaurant also offers free WIFI. All in all I quite liked it and I will go again in the future."

"This place was very tasty. The staff is very friendly and they care about the quality of their food. We ordered a pizza and pasta plate. They both were very good and they came with a tasty small salad and a refreshing fruit drink.The restaurant is in the malecón so it has a pretty view of the lake and it is easy to find. I would go back to this place if I had the opportunity, it was very good."

"A great little restaurant one street back from the lake. We had the Menu Del Dia which consisted of soup, juice and main which was fish, rice salad, and French fries. The food was fresh and delicious. The owners were lovely and we would highly recommend.P.S the burger looked awesome also!"

"So you've been traveling for a couple months, an although I love a good local plate of meat, plantains, and rice/bean(honestly I really do like it) it's nice to change it up sometimes. Usually to do that you have to bend the budget a little bit. Not here. The food is delicious!!! And the price is perfect. Quiche of the day, salad, and cous-cous for 7,500 pesos. Awesome homemade soup for 5,000 pesos. 5 different wraps to choose from,7,000 pesos. Soup/wrap combo for 10,000. Good coffee for that afternoon pick-me-up and the nicest employees. Great little patio near the sports complex and away from the main/touristy street. 100% recommend. Not gonna be the fanciest meal you eat but it's good, wholesome, tasty food that your belly and your travelers wallet with thank you for!"

"Did a bus tour and lunch was served here as part of the tour package. We had a choice of beef, chicken or pork and it was served with rice, plantain and beans. Surprisingly there was a fried egg on top! Food was good but service for some was slower than others."
