"Dry Manchurian was other-worldly. This place offers best views in the whole city and has a wide range to choose from. They play good music and overall vibe is excellent. Visited thrice during my stay and will come back again."

I’m glad my original pick next door was closed and I came across this place.<br/>The place just had a nice vibe about it. Neither noisy nor quiet. Just the place I had in mind. Neither distracting nor loud. Just perfect. <br/>Good enough that I’m already looking forward to having pancakes there tomorrow..."

"The advantage of this family run hotel is that it is bang on the chowk in Mcleodganj and within walking distance of the bus depot(hardly 5 mins walk). Disadvantage is that there is no service in the rooms at all. Drinking water is not provided. Guests are asked to fill in their own empty bottles from a big Sintex tank at the chowk. The lady at the reception doesn't understand either Hindi or English and only speaks Tibetan. We stayed in a Rs 1000/ per night room on the fourth floor, had to carry our own luggage up the very steep and narrow stairs. Toilet had a persistent smell of urine. Room overlooked the street below. The restaurant turned us away at 9.10 pm because said that they take orders only till 9.pm. Overall, pretty poor."

"This is open cafe and is on left side once you enter the institute. If offers fast food and for proper buffet and dining food there is Norling restaurent on right side. The staff of the cafe is cold and unresponsive. We sat and noone gave the menu or came to take order, they had only few items which they had wrote as today's chef special like egg dosa, potato fry momo etc. They even didn't had steamed momo so we left and visited Norling restaurent which is on other side. We ordered the veg momo costing Rs 170 as most dishes looked over-priced and we were not sure(the best decision). It took around 15-20 mins to serve Momo and till then noone even asked for water. Infact noone was present in reception where we could ask for water. They were busy with preparation of buffet and won't even listen to us. After wait of 15 mins came momo and they were so small in size and below average in taste. By now mood was not so good and we ate paid our bill of 170(including GST) and left for good. I would suggest to eat out and give both these a skip as they are absolutely not worth the taste and of course price. This was our only bad experience of food in whole trip."

"We visited Snow Lion on a breezy summer evening. The kind that matches up perfectly with a fresh serving on Momos and Soup. The place was relatively empty considering it was a weekday. Ordered Spring rolls, Fried Momos and their Blueberry Cheesecake. Perfectly good meal for a perfectly cheap price :)"

"Have been here a couple of times now and both times he food has been really tasty. Staff are nice enough and it have a nice view of the surrounding hills and a cheeky mountain peak if your luck. They also have soy milk and...the soy milk masala chai was great. Can’t really fault it"
