"I really wanted to love this place. I ordered the fried chicken that was amazing! excellent brot and juicy huh. it came with potatoes that were not smeared at all. the kartoffel buds were very underused and crispy, happy that they were a little crispy, but the seasoning would go a long way."

"The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. There is a nice view and it's all outdoor seating so you can feel the ocean breeze. The food so shockingly bland. We had the crab balls which have a very odd, soft, almost dip like texture. We also had fries which somehow managed to taste like absolutely nothing. I asked for salt and was brought beer salt in a plastic container. The fact that they don't have a salt or pepper shaker in the building might be while the food is so bland. The pretzels bites were okay but the beer cheese was again...very bland. It's also massively over priced. I get it's Galveston but this food is priced about twice what it should be for portion size IF it tasted good. We will absolutely never be back. I'm going to have to assume that the only reason this place is still open is because of vacationers that don't know any better."

"The first time here, wait to open them and finally got this chance. have cooked the lemon pepper fried jumbo and it is delish! love it! hush puppies are great, best I had and I really didn't care to eat, but I always try them to find others, but the taste is awesome, like a feeling powder in their mouth! back to garnel they are cooked to perfection. I can't say enough. really great fried garnel! thank you. mike for good customer service!"

"Showed up at 11 wanting shrimp for boiling. Berger had just delivered a basket full of shrimp right off the boat. Absolutely the freshest, most delicious shrimp I have EVER had in my life! Super nice people there too. Thank you!"

"I loved everything about this place. Only sad I haven 't been sooner! Had the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer.... Oh! My! Goodness! I have died and gone to Heaven. The BEST I have ever had. Loved everything about it!! (Oh, and we got about 7-8 fried tomatoes on top of a mouthwatering bed of Cheesy Bacon Grits!! My wife and I also shared the Seafood Platter and we brought tons home for several more meals!! We had fried fish, fried shrimp (HUGE , fried oysters, Boudain balls, hush puppies, fries, fried fish wings, shrimp frogs coleslaw (I think that was everything, lol There was SO MUCH FOOD!! We will definitely be going back soon. This may actually be our new Date Night spot once a month. I can 't wait to work thru more items on the menu!!! But I will be having the fried green tomatoes everytime!!! ?????"
