"Alles is ingericht rondom het thema van de gelukkige koe. Wienerschnitzel was prima. Gebakken krieltjes erbij. Deze keer een restaurant dat geen patat op de kaart heeft! Toetje was heerlijk. Prima restuarantje waar wij op vrijdagavond terecht konden, nadat bleek dat veel restaurants al vol waren. Zit wat achterin het dorp aan andere kant van het spoor. Niet in de looproute. Beetje jammer dat de betaalautomaat kapot was...gedoe met betalen om die reden. Prima, maar ook geen topper. Vind je koeien leuk....dan zeker hier gaan eten."

"After a hike through beautiful nature you come past the small chapel, then to Spielmannsau. On the terrace of the Gasthof you can enjoy the view of the mountains with good food and drinks. If you're lucky, the chickens and the beautiful cock are running freely and the carriage horses rest in the open stable for the return. It's wonderful for children. A rewarding excursion destination, highly recommended. Way and goal harmonious."

"I spent my summer holiday in oberstdorf in august 2019. first I found it very strange that the Wienerwald in a strange destination, like oberstdorf, do not allow to offer warm kitchens throughout the entire environment. the quality of the food was not very large. each snackbar offers a better level. the personal could also be more friendly. above all the cook. absolutely no comparison with the Wienerwald in the Austrian capital. there is the personal friendly and also the price-performance ratio is right, which you can not really claim from the Wienerwald in oberstdorf."

"After reading all the positive TA reviews, we reserved a table at Alt It was an extremely disappointing experience. We were the only people in the restaurant, which says something, as most of the other restaurants in this area were full. I chose the...Oberstdorf pork steak, and my wife had the lasagne with a side salad. The meals were only of average quality. There are better restaurants in this part of Oberstdorf."
