"For the food alone, I'd give it 3/5, however it was way overpriced so value for the money goes down to 1/5 for a final rating of 2/5.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean, but the washroom right next to the kitchen was odd.Skip the crab and shrimp tempura appetizers. Not real crab nor real shrimp.The sushi sauces that they provided were very good. I especially liked the wasabi sauce."

"I've been a customer of Maiko Sushi for years. I was very disappointed with our visit this weekend. The restaurant was more than half empty on a Saturday night, but the timing of the courses was unstable. The soup ordered immediately, but waited for 20 minutes to arrive. Our sushi was on the counter for over 15 minutes. The presentation was impressing... it didn't come at the table like in the Maiko days. It looked and tasted more like Sushi Shop as a high-end restaurant. No warm towels. Too bad. Two birthdays at the table and no mention of the opportunity by employees, although included in rsvp and the hostess. It won't be back."

"We went for my daughter’s birthday. The kids were amazed, the staff very friendly and the chef was great! He was very friendly with the kids, funny and interactive. The food was very tasty especially the fillet mignon and the fried rice. Honeslty, everything else was pretty great too. It is a bit pricy but you get full!!! Huge portion, almost no one finished their plate. Would definitely go again."
