"OMG! The chicken and gnocchi meal is amazing! This was our first time. We sat at a picnic table and the service was a little slow but the meal was worth the wait. Four out of six in our party ordered the chicken and gnocchi and everyone loved it. I can say, without a doubt, that this is one of the best meals I've had in my life. The chicken was perfect, moist with crunchy skin. The gnocchi was good. I loved the addition of the butternut squash and the sauce was plentiful and amazing. We're going back tonight and ordering the same dish!"

"We were passing through Oceanside on our drive between San Diego and Las Vegas when we needed some food. We had three dogs with us so a sit down restaurant wasn't really an option so we figured we would give one of San Diego's popular sandwich chains a shot and check out Board Brew. My fiancée ran in to order our subs and within minutes she was out with not only a Baja Chicken Sandwich for me, but also a warm chocolate chip cookie which I ate first since I'm a toddler. The chocolate chip cookie was fine, but nothing to really crave in the future. The Baja chicken sandwich's description has Marinated, Antibiotic-free Chicken Breast, Grilled Onions, Jalapeño Peppers Melted Jack Cheese on a toasted French Baguette. Includes Mayo, Tomato Lettuce (yes, I copy and pasted that). I'm gonna be blunt here, this sandwich was okay and nothing more. The taste was fine, the size was fine, the entire experience was just fine. I put this place on the same level as a chain like Port of Subs and nothing more.Overall, Board Brew is a fine place to stop for a quick sub and to be on your way. I didn't dislike anything about this place, but I also don't remember anything positive enough to want to actually come back if I'm back in the area. If you are a local, this is a great quick lunch, if you are a tourist, probably better off checking something else out."

"Food is delicious when ordered there and eaten at the restaurant. However when picked up and brought home chicken is luke warm coleslaw was not cold. In addition all the sides included were mixed together- coleslaw and black beans. Eat the food there or you will be disappointed. Plus website says to allow 35-45 minutes for orders to be ready. I went 30 minutes later and it was sitting on the counter. Maybe that's why food is no longer hot? $60 for food to take home only to have to reheat the chicken and eat sides mixed together. Also we ordered 1/2 a chicken meal all white meat which should've had 2 breasts and 2 wings. However it was 1 breast cut in 1/2 with 2 wings. That's not right to do that when we paid for 2 breasts. Give what is ordered and on menu and don't skimp. If it is expensive then charge more but don't give a breast cut in 1/2 when you are supposed to give 2 breasts. Do better with take out please."

"Couldn't be happier. We came for lunch, it's always busy but they move fast. Had the Thursday special aka chicken, rice and California roll, banzai Ramen aka my favorite and the tempura which came with 2 shrimps, 2 green beans, 1 sweet potato and 1 zucchini and dipping sauce. We found a seat and shortly got our waters. Next came the fresh, hot, and crispy tempura. Then the Ramen and finally the bowl. Everything was delicious. Food came out hot and relatively quick."
