"I have been before but it never disappoints. We had the best meat and vegetarian dishes to farewell a yoga friend off travelling. I had the prawn goan medium and it was excellent. Naans are a favourite with my children."

"Maharani had been highly recommended to us. So we took a punt. The owners are friendly however the food was not as good as we had hoped. The lamb korma was colourless and had no taste and the butter chicken was not much better the chicken was very dry. Pakora was dense and not freshly cooked and Naan was like cardboard, although the dogs enjoyed it ."

"Visited the restaurant today's afternoon and have ordered Chicken Masala, chicken Karahi, garlic n cheese naan, lacha paratha and mango lassi. Food was oily but taste was really good. EFTPOS is not working so they wanted cash which didn't bother me. I would visit the restaurant again."

"Haven't been over morningside since vivid began and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there tonight. I had mango chicken and my partner had lamb korma. Rice, garlic naans, papadums, pakora and vege samosas. Yummy"

"Having lived almost my entire life in Malaysia and the UK, I've come to raise that Indian food standards in Australia are pretty poor.With this low bar in mind, the food here is probably acceptable, but to me it's a pretty poor showing of Indian food.I had a 2 meat 1 veg thali. Veg options were potato & bean, potato & zucchini, dhal. Meat were chicken/lamb vindaloo/kurma/madras/t.massala. Lamb vindaloo tasted powdery (chili powder style), lamb madras a non descript sauce, but a bit better. Rice grains were very loose and not the fluffy texture of good basmati.But it's cheap and good value. Filled the spot for a late night dinner."

Been here about four times and always happy!Staff are helpful and informative but each time i've been here it's VERY very slow.i've opted to order in advance cos I really do like the food and then when i went to their website, I noted you can get a 15% discount!So now this is how I get my indian from the Royal Punjab!I like it!"
