"There is too much to say about this dinning experience then this page can hold. The food was wonderful, the service was outstanding. I took my wife here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, the staff went out of their way to provide a wonderful evening of conversation and food. The Pastry Chef even provided us with a treat of Key Lime pie, a dessert that we shared on our wedding night. Thank you to the Staff for this memorable evening."

"Eating was good, but we didn't think it was great. too much mayo in the crab and artichoke dive. the roasted oysters were okay, but the muscle was not cut. almost too much topping drowned from the oysters. steamed garnelen was tasty, not much seasonal and lacked the snap, but overall good. cocktail sauce was excellent. dessert sorbet was also excellent. a good but not good meal."

"Read a lot of positive reviews about the place. Decided to visit it for brunch on an ordinary Sunday. Party of four, waited about 40 minutes to get a table. Waited about 15 minutes at the table without a single person greeting us. Waitress finally gotthere and was nice, but looked frantic and overworked. Food came relatively quick, as a matter of fact, it beat the drink Iordered, their famous bloody mary, which if you're into bitter, you'll def like. Repeat, the food beat the drink to thetable. My kids said the breakfast wasn't anything special, borderline bland. My wife got the shrimp and grits and they looklike it was a layer of oil on top. The food was definitely not worth the wait. Not to rag too much on this place, but I havehad much, much better. Don't know why this was listed best breakfast in Raleigh. It's NOT."

"My wife and I love Sunflower’s and are regulars here on the Saturdays. We love the food, people, decor and layout that make this place special. The inside is bright with windows all around and a great patio area that wraps around the building. The inside has artwork by local artists on the walls for sale. The food here always rocks and being a creature of habit I usually get the East Coast Pimento Cheese (ECPC) and my wife gets the Californian. Their salads are also really good and they have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans it appears."

"We have reserved ourselves for vaterday. the service was sub par, the server has only 1 drink once refilled by 11 people.) 2 of the 5 children did not receive their dessert, we had to ask if they were to get it even before the election. one of the fathers, at the end of the meal, asked if there was a special for desserts for fathers. our server said he would ask the manager. When he came back, he told us that the only vater 's day special was the one who also desserts a meal for $30.) we said that we were never told about the special that the server has just shrunk somehow. spoke to a manager who then dessert offered discount cards for the next visit if we give them another chance. the mahi mahi a person was ordered dry overcooked, the garnelen were a very small part, the fried garnel plate was returned because the garnelen was very fishy tasting. Once we have received our reviews, we have noticed that there is gratuity 20 . the menus indicate that a party of 6 or more is automatically calculated 18% of the gratulation, so we expected that, but it had 20 next to it, so we looked more closely. the actual checks we had 3 audits) amounted to 20 27% of the freeness added to the review. when we added the server about the amount of gratuity, he schrugged said that the manager added it there. he asked to talk to the manager again, who noticed that the congratulation was wrong. he has fixed this problem, but we will not go back. bad experience around."

"We love celebrating birthdays at Vinnie's and this visit was no exception! Our server, Valentina, was outstanding and her professionalism and attention to each of us was well appreciated. Vinnie's is one of a dying breed of true fine dining in my opinion. I have worked in fine dining in my youth and what I see there reminds of my training back in the day. As for the food, absolutely delicious! Steaks were perfectly cooked, and the sides were to die for. Tom Armstrong, the chef and general manager visited ours and other tables to ensure that everything was going well. Like I said, a true fine dining experience with exceptional service and delicious food. A rare treat these day!"
