"I usually enjoy Rachel's Kitchen. But unfortunately at my recent visit, I was disappointed in how I was treated by the staff. The posted hours are until 7pm. At 645pm as I walk in (barely through the door) I'm asked if I ordered ahead because they aren't taking any more orders. The attitude about the kitchen being closed before closing time is not good customer service. If a business is open until 7, then customers should be served until 7. If the business wants the staff gone by 7, then change the operation hours. Very disappointing to be told you can't be served a basic salad before closing."

"Solid spot for brunch with a menu that's heavy on chicken and fish. Not a huge selection for vegetarians. Pretty reasonable prices compared to many other brunch places.I ordered the fried fish sandwich. They were quite generous with the number of pieces they included. I wish the fish itself were a little more flavorful and interesting, but the tomato and tartar sauce (and a bit of salt I added) made it perfectly fine.Service was friendly and happy to accommodate the dog our party came with. They were even willing to bring a takeout container full of water for her."

"Dinner at J's On The Bay! They recently went through a complete renovation with a revised menu that I was very excited to try. For a starter we have the mozzarella sticks. These are not only any ordinary frozen mozzerella sticks, they are homemade with lioni?s mozzarella and their own garlic bread crust, along with a side of vodka sauce. For entrees we got drunken dumplings that are ricotta gnocchi with vodka sauce, and the Carbonara Pasta. In addition, we also received mini-Foccacia-Brot-style pizzas. Everything was fantastic and I can't wait to try out more things from the new menu in the future."

"Southern style food was great. I didn't order the chicken fried steak like I used to because they changed the recipe and the old style was better. The breakfast was so good. Excellent for family's. Nice Big tables. They also changed over to Pepsi products so I was glad to find their water tasted good! When it gets hot this summer, knowing where to get good water will be a blessing!"

"Honestly don't know how this place doesn't have a higher rating ....Always great service and food been here twice in the last 2 weeks! Well apparently my choice on the menu has changed i can't have one quesadilla shrimp and one chicken as the last 8 times i came here but that's fine it started off a little shaky with our waitress but she ended up being ok and still great food and to go there around 1:30 on a Sunday a busy time still only having to wait 15 minutes you can't beat that ....First time we had to wait at all and we have been here many times...so my experience was not the same but still closer to a 5 star rating and not 4 overall.."
