"My friends and I had a Sunday dinner at the crown hotel. eating was absolutely amazing. chowder is to die and beef cooked to perfection the staff was very friendly. it is a must and anyone who does not try this wonderful place. will be back soon!"

"Amazing! The loveliest staff, fantastic experience start to finish! Massive portions at a reasonable price too. A great authentic Thai. The best lamb massaman curry I have had in the UK, if not in the world! We also ordered amazing starters, Singapore noodles were the best we have had. Peanut chicken and pad Thai were delicious. Can’t wait to return. Small restaurant, visit early or book to avoid disappointment! Every table was reserved so we were lucky we got in early! Can’t rave about this place enough."

"This restaurant must be by far the best restaurant in Poole. We went there yesterday to celebrate our anniversary and our meal was excellent. We had the monk fish which was delicious, our complements to the chef. I only have one complaint, we paid for our meal by bank card and asked the waitress to add on extra, for a well deserved tip but unfortunately she was unable to amend the card reader. Not having much cash on us we were unable to tip her the amount we felt we wanted and I wonder if the waitress misses out because of this as most people use card payments these days and don’t carry much cash. I recommend this restaurant and can’t understand why we have never dined here before. I’m looking forward to our next visit."

"Seafood was fresh and delicious, highly recommend the mussels and the bread was freshly baked and soft. we got the salt and pepper squid however this was not well seasoned and the membrane of the squid was not cut off making it quite chewy. interior is a bit dated however staff were lovely and attentive."

"We ate here after a recommendation from the bar man where we were staying. We walked in between 2 Christmas Parties so were aware that there could be a bit of a wait, but as they had managed to squeeze us in when already fully booked we were happy to. It was well worth the wait! Despite being full in the restaurant and I'm guessing with take aways the food was amazing. I had the Niligri Chicken Korma, the sauce was delicious and obviously freshly made. My husband had the Quay spice special, which along with tender chicken and lamb were also a couple of the biggest king prawns we had seen in a long while. I cannot fault anything about the evening except for some of the other guests who were less than gracious just because a couple of their drinks were missing."
