I have been using Imrans for 30 years. It is by far the best take away in Poole. Recently,I have noticed an increase in the flavours of the dishes, I think there must be new chefs. This Friday I ordered chicken tikka chilli masala, pilau rice popadoms. Taste is top notch and the portion sizes generous as ever. Not oily at all, rich sauce and very tender chicken. I ordered here only due to my usual Indian restaurant not being open. Regret I won 't be doing so again. I 'm not sure how Imran 's managed to get such a high rating the food definitely doesn 't justify it imo. I guess it 's down to some 'superfans ' like Dan who seem to exist almost exclusively on their food and review their very positive experience every time. I maybe got them on an off night! Food very hot as always. Very tasty and never a bad curry. Always good food.
