"Food here has historically been sub optimal, raw chips and soggy sarnies etc but today I was served a chicken sandwich with meat that was somehow both rock hard and totally raw in the middle at the same time. Microwave defrosting mishap perhaps? Complained and was offered a reacement sandwich be cooked 'for free '. Utterly awful and not particularly cheap. Stick to drinks."

"I have eaten from the village several times and the food is always amazing! I love that you can see the food being cooked whilst you wait and its always delicious! Great service and friendly staff and chefs! Would recommend to anyone!"

"Two of us called into this pub for a drink. It was very noisy and half full with mainly elderly customers, most of whom were looking at international cricket on the pub TV. We ordered a glass of wine and a bottle of sparkling water. They were out of stock of the sparkling water and Soda water was offered instead. Running out of something so basic does that suggest something about the management of this pub?????"
