"You are only getting one because I can't give you zero. Rubbish service and poor attitude. Ordered pizza and pasta our friends finished their pizza and we still don't have our pasta. They need to teach their waiters some basic courtesy and customer service techniques. Saying the kitchen is being hammered is not an excuse. Getting four meals for four people on the table at the one time is service 101! Happy to discuss with the restaurant. Send me a message Doubt you will!"

"Your staff at the start of the evening service should be a little more vibrant, however serving clients that arrive after you first is a big no-no, especially if they are seated at the next table. The food was nice, and the staff did not appear to be interested too much. I want to give them another opportunity, as I hope it was only a one-off night."

"The calamari rings were fresh and delicious. Our main was Linguini Marinara which was cooked after we finished the entree and minestrone soup. In the main, the scallops, calamari strips and prawns were very good but the mussels were a bit tiny. Wood fireplace and nice deco makes a good atmosphere."

"As visitors to Melbourne, we were not familiar with Northcote. It's great! High Street had wonderful architecture, and a great diversity of people and of restaurants. Think Enmore Road if you are from Sydney. I was craving a pizza, so we selected Pizza e Vino....We really enjoyed ourselves-service was attentive, the large pizza we shared was real Italian pizza with a think crisp base and not overloaded with toppings, the salad and wine to go with it were very good, and there was a real buzz in the venue. Highly recommended!"

"This place lacked the ambience I thought I’d be getting since it’s along chapel street. Might be because I rocked up at 4pm, not exactly lunch or dinner timing..<br/ <br/ As for the food, we ordered the arancini balls, the funghi penne and the arrabiata fettuccine.<br/ <br/ The arancini were a disaster, lacked flavour and any effort..and it came out after our mains were half way done.<br/ <br/ The pastas were pretty tasty, and was worth the price.<br/ <br/ However it took them 35 mins to put food on the table. And there were only 2 other guest as we rocked up at 4pm. It was obvious we got a little impatient with hunger but the waiter didn’t even try to make amends. No apologies, nothing. they were more interested in their delivery orders I guess. <br/ <br/ So not sure if it’s worth coming back because that service left a very bitter taste..<br/ <br/"

"I wandered in after a long walk at the city. The waiters took their time to take notice of me, although the place was not crowded. The waiter approached with a bottle of water then stood with that in hand to say I need to move to a smaller table. Apart from the fact that the place wasn't full, his attitude was rude to say the least.I walked out immediately and it serves them right; I took my money elsewhere."
